Disneyland Birthday Trip Highlights
Thee GoochWe I'm I'm I'm really recovering from Disneyland because we went to Disneyland on Sunday, so we on my birthday, so we're selling my birthday on Sunday, so it's normally my physical birthday today, June 16, everybody. Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday, dear me. Happy birthday to me. Yeah, yeah, everybody. So, yeah, so I'm really recovering. Okay, recovering for my birthday on Sunday. We went to Disneyland with the family, my brother, the uh Remo, and my Fufo, my nephew, my niece, and you know, we had a good time. My two nieces and her boyfriend, and and my nieces, uh son. We all went together with we had a great time at Disneyland, everybody. So yeah, it's really, really it was really hot, but then we went to that uh that ride on the Grizzly Run ride. We got wet and soaked wet. And I I didn't think we were gonna get wet, but we did. So I don't know why I was thinking that we're not gonna get wet. It was one time I went on it, I didn't get wet for shit. So yeah, I mean I didn't think of much, but we we got soaked and wet, so it was really hot, and it just uh got cooled off, it cooled off and everything. So yeah, so uh we we had a great time. We drank some beers and you know, anything. You know, we went we were in that California Adventures, we went to that Grizzly ride. It was all it was really fun. I enjoyed it. I mean, it's um I really enjoyed it. It's uh great day to go to Disneyland, it was on a Sunday, it wasn't too packed, to be honest, because we went on to the rides, and I like I mean it went really quick.
Lightning Lane Take And Ride Waits
Thee GoochWe didn't have to get that lightning pass and all that stuff. I mean, I don't I don't recommend people getting the lightning pass because I think it's just uh waste of money because uh we we went to the California Adventures, we we were there like in 25 minutes to 30 minutes. I mean, if you have patience enough, if you have patience, you won't buy that lightning pass. So my my my brother Rima wanted to buy the lightning pass, and I told him, dude, that's 37 bucks. You're gonna waste money, and all the rides, most of the rides were like 37 minutes, 35 minutes. So we we did it. The only ride that was really, really a long run. The time was too too too um unbearable. I don't know how they did it, but it was the Guardians of Galaxy ride on the California Adventures. It was really like 55 minutes. I don't know how they did it. They they got on it while they were went while they went on it. I was on TikTok live. I don't know if you guys saw it, seen it, or saw me on TikTok, me and the Gooch. So I was just I was explaining why I didn't go
Guardians Ride Avoidance And Old Crush
Thee Goochon that ride. And there's reasons why I don't want to go into that ride because it reminds me of someone. I know I'm making excuses because I'm probably scared of going in, and that's part of it in a way, but it's not that I don't, I'm pretty sure it's not that scary, and just going up and down, but it it just reminds me of some girl that was I had a crush on when uh one of my ex-employees. So I mean it I just it kind of reminds me of that day, so I kind of don't want to go in it because it reminds me that day. I'm gonna think that she's right there, or me thinking that I want her to be there, so you know I don't know. It's kind of silly. I know it's kind of stupid and silly, but it's I mean it's just me. I don't know if you guys ever had that problem, you know. Memories, reminiscing. You don't wanna get back to that reminiscing crap, but but that's me. So I I I feel like I didn't feel like I wanted to go on there, but I will go on it. I'll just make more memories um with my brother and my family, and we'll see how we go again. I I should have gone on it. I was like thinking, should I go on that? Should I go on on it? Should I go on it? It's already too late. They were already further further down. I didn't want to fucking go through all that line cutting in, and you know, we just you know, things like that. I just like oh fuck. Well, next time I'll I'll go on it for sure. You know, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna make no excuses. Yeah. The Guardians of the Galaxy, everybody. So um, yeah. So if you guys want to tip us, uh there's our QR code right there. It's uh Cash App right there. There's our barcode right there. That's our new QR code. I got another one from PayPayPal. So if you want to hook it up, hook us up right there. It's uh the host Joe Remo and the Gooch. You could tip us uh for the show for a Cash App. I mean Cash App and PayPal too, everybody. I mean I wish I could have just two on the side, it would be real awesome. So uh there's another thing too.
New Podcast Host Odyssey Creators Lab
Thee GoochNow we're we're uh together with Odyssey Creators Lab now. We used to be on a provider on for our show. We used to be Bus Sprout. We're no longer be on Bus Sprout anymore, so now we're on Odyssey Creators Lab. I recommend everybody that um is a podcaster or start starting to go on the podcast business and all that stuff. You guys are about to be a podcaster. I would recommend you to go to Odyssey dot I mean Odyssey Creator Lab. Okay, so that's where I'm at now. So yeah, I would recommend you to go there. So I mean, because it you it pays you for commercials and all that stuff. So you know it it depends on the downloads you get. If people are hearing that you're you're uh how you call it, uh if you got a lot of listeners and you have a lot of people downloading your podcast, I would recommend you because it pays you. And Bus Pro didn't I was getting uh kind of like problems with it because it wasn't helping me out as much. And this one is. I mean, I'm getting at least some change, you know, like helping me out. So I would recommend you guys to go to Odyssey Creators Lab. It's really good. I mean, I I like it, I seem to like it. I mean, I and I don't have troubles with it. So I mean, it's what it is, man. Sometimes you have to move and see how it you gotta change and once in a while, you know what I'm saying? So yeah, I mean I I I it's it's it looks promising. So I changed to another carrier, Odyssey Creators Lab, everybody. I wanna thank them for um you know for uh helping me out, you know, yeah, explaining me how it how it works and all that stuff. It's it's a real good thing to to try it out. It's it's good to try good things, you know. So yeah. So Odyssey, it's um Odyssey Creator Labs, everybody. So that's what I'm at. That's my new carrier right now. So here we go. I have it in the top right right here, on my right, on your right, and all that stuff. So it's Odyssey Creator Lab, everybody. So I just want to thank them. They convinced me. And I'm getting paid for well, not me, not I, not myself. The Gucci and Remo are we are getting paid for the every commercial they put on in our podcast. And when you guys are hearing the podcast and you hear like an ad and all that stuff, we're getting paid for that. So thank you, Odyssey Creator Lab.
Magic Key Perks And Reservation Frustrations
Thee GoochYeah, so we went to Disneyland on just on Sunday, and uh we had a good time on we went on June um 14th, so that wasn't a Sunday. So we we we had a good time, man. We drank and we didn't have no problems, we're just having fun going to going into rides and all that stuff. So I mean the we we we we met up all the characters and all that stuff, so it was really fun. I really enjoyed it, man. I we saw I finally saw Mickey Mouse. I wanted to take a picture of Mickey Mouse, right? So I mean, we were on me and Remo are raiding online to go, you know, to see Mickey Mouse. Just when I got to the line, five minutes he had to leave. So we had uh take a picture, take a photo of uh Minnie Mouse. So I mean I mean it's good, you know. I I wanted to take a picture of Minnie Mouse and all that. So I mean it's what it is. So we took a picture of Minnie Mouse, me and I mean I think it was just me. So I had a good time with it, and that's it. I mean, it was pretty good. It was really awesome. I had a good time with the family, and you know, we're we're a Disneyland new we're new Disneyland key holders, magic key holders. So I'm really really, really uh excited about that. So yeah, the magic key holders and Remo just became with his daughter first time magic key holders for Disneyland, so it's pretty good. So now they have that you don't have to I think it started on June 9th. So now you could uh go whenever you want, hop on to it. I mean either part park. You could go to Disneyland or you could go to uh California Adventures. You don't have no time limit, so now you could just hop on whenever you feel like it now. So that's good, that's a good thing. Because um we had a if we would have chosen Disneyland, we had a like we had to like wait to 11 o'clock to to go to hop on and whatever, or 30 minutes, in other words, you could have you have to wait 30 minutes. Once that 30 minutes is uh up, you go now you could hop on to the Disneyland or to the other uh Disneyland California adventures. So now they took that out. You don't have to wait 30 minutes, now you could just hop on whatever you feel like it. That's that's that's what that's the good thing. That's what I like about it. Yeah, because the other the other time I went there was like uh last month, no, two months ago, when I went there, I was at Disneyland. So they told me that I had to wait like 30 minutes to hop onto the California Adventures. So I had to wait 30 minutes. I had so I had 30 minutes to kill to go to Disneyland, walk around, see the merchandise, buy something or anything, like drink something, all that stuff. So after my 30 minutes was gone, uh well, 30 minutes was past, so I want to hop onto California Adventures. So no more of that. I'm just well everybody's just hoping. Everybody's just hoping to uh stop the reservations, you know, because you know, the thing is uh I got the you know, I messed up. Okay, I got the imagine key and it doesn't have weekends and all that stuff. That's uh you know, I kind of messed up my own. I should have just got the explore key because Remo and his daughter got the explore key, and I should have got that one. So I called and tell him, I told him that you know I kind of messed up. I I chose the wrong key. So can I get uh the explore key instead of the imagin key? So they said no, you gotta like pay. I mean, I go, I told him, you know, I just barely bought it. I just buried it just right now, like like 10 minutes ago. I go, no. I mean it's a final purchase, you you just gotta pay the $400 and you know, and you upgrade for uh you know whatever key you want. I go, you know, I guess I was too late. I don't know. I mean, um, I don't know why you put the applause, but it was supposed to be the that part. But uh yeah, so like I it it was a done deal. I I guess it was a done deal. I chose by uh the the Imagine key and only goes to the like only the weekdays, it's really rare to go have a a Sunday or a weekend, things like that. So it's really rare for me to get a a weekend. So the last weekends I had it was on January and February, but I barely bought the key on February, so that was the only weekend I had, it was on Sunday. So yeah, so it's it's sad. I I mean I think they should just at least add some, you know, some weekdays, I mean, or weekends or Saturday or Sundays to the Imagine at least, you know. So it's pure it's I only got the weekdays, which is kind of sad, you know. Yeah, I know. You know, you know, so you know, I mean it's it's crazy, you know. I just hope they do a change on that one. Uh yeah, so I just hope someday they'll change it. See maybe next year or they figure figure something out about it. So yeah, I mean, every everybody's uh talking about that, about the reservations, so they could they they should change it and all that stuff. Excuse me.
Turning 53 And Regrets About School
Thee GoochWell, today's my birthday, everybody. Okay. Today is my birthday. And you know, it's man, yeah, I mean, time goes real fast, everyone. You know? Every time goes real fast. Now I'm like I'm 53 years old, believe it or not, you know. And time went by quick, and it's going quick too. I noticed it. And I mean, I just remember when I was like 18 years old. I feel like 18, to be honest. I do. I really do. And I feel young, you know. I mean, I don't feel like like I'm getting tired or something like that. It's only when you know you have enough to drink. You know, I'm really recovering for the weekend, Sunday when we went. But time went time time went by fast. You know, I remember when I said when I was 18 years old, oh, I can't wait to to be 21 so I could drink some beer, you know, like your drink. Now that I'm at this age, I go, I wish I was 18. I wish I was 18 and you know, or 17, go back to school and all that stuff, and pay the shit that I didn't do. But I don't get me wrong, I did graduate. So I did graduate. And I did graduate. I do got my diploma, but I should have just kept on going to go to college and all that stuff. I should have just gone to college for uh communications, things like that, on Godo Radio like that. I didn't, I didn't I didn't think nothing much. Money thought about having fun. I mean, it's like, you know, I I recommend you everybody out there that if just stick to your studies and the fun will happen later, you know? Stick to your studies, go to college, go to school, and your fun will come later. You know? And that's what I messed up. I messed up on that shit. I should have just gone to school, keeped on going, go to college. You know, I was at first I went to college, I was like, that's not for me, man. Like, you know, it's it's crazy. It's weird. And when you're young, you just want to have fun. But when you start getting older, you start getting wiser, now you want to go to school. Now you're thinking, I should have to go to school. They say it's not too late to go to school because you know, you're you're you're old. Because I'm 53. I want I I feel like going to school right now, you know. But they say, nah, you know what? I'm too old. And they always tell me, you know, you're never too old to go to school.
JoeYou know. You're never too old. Yes, it's true. It's true. But to me, I think it is too late. You know. But uh some people tell me that you know it's never too late. You can still you can even be a cop right now. I because you know, I always wanted to be a cop, right? But they tell me, you know what, I'm it's too late. You go, no, it's never too late, man. You make it late because you wanted to be late, you know, things like that. Yeah, I know. But see, I mean, you want to like collect yeah, it's better to start young because you know, the benefits and all that stuff, your 401k and all that stuff, you know, you want that piling up when you're younger. And that's what I tell these guys at work, you know, the kids, like, and now you guys got the 401k now, and this and this and that. Do it, you have it when you're young. Because when you start becoming when getting older, when you become older, when you become like 25, when that thing is increasing, you're gonna have a lot of at least a lot to support you when you get older, you know. So, and then when you become in the field, when you go into the field, when you want to become a a supervisor or manager or something like that, you know, and then you're gonna get the top 401k, you're gonna get the the whole benefits, you know. So it's gonna increase you more. So, you know, it it it kind of boosts you up, you know. So yeah, that's what I tell the guys at work, the kids, don't resign, do not quit, because this job can help you. You know. So it's just a matter of being patient and all that stuff, you know. So that's all I was thinking, like, you know, man. I just wish I could have gone to school. You know? I messed up. That was my bad. That was my bad. You know, things like that. But I just I just should have just listened to my dad and my mom and just go to school, go to college, go, you know, because I like to draw, I like to paint and all that stuff. I should have just gone to school to go paint and and and draw, you know. Or go to the communications and to go to ra go on radio, you know. So I mean, so I should have done that. You know, I didn't I didn't I don't know. I was just wanted to have fun and all that stuff. And I re I I mean I the kids out there, that all the teenagers out there, I would recommend you to go to school first. Fun will happen later, you know. And I realize that now. You know, I realize that. I realize that you could have your fun much later. Not now. I know you guys want to have fun out there. I wanted to have fun when I was a kid, you know. You know, I'm not trying to be a hypocrite, but you know, it's it's just an advice. Advice is we're we're trying to give you here. You know, I'm trying to give you that, uh give you a good advice. Go to school, stick to school, do whatever you want to do, study hard and all that stuff. And until you graduate when you get all your your education, that's when your fun comes in. You know, it's it's it's well worth it, everybody. It's well worth it. I and I see a lot of people that graduated school and they stuck to school and they they ignore the fun before. I see a lot of people that with such success, uh now they're partying, they're having a party, you know, it it's all worth it. I mean, I I would recommend you to do that. You know, I I'd rather for you guys out there, if you guys are listening, I will just go to school, stick to your studies, stick to your studies first, then after you done with your education, you're done and you complete it, it's a mission. I know it's a mission, it's a mission to do all your education, but it's well worth it at the end. Because at the end, you're gonna have all that fun and all that success you're gonna have. It's all pay it's all pays out, you know. Even though you're gonna pay all that shit back, it's gonna take time. But hey, your education is key right now, man. Fundamentals and all that stuff. It's really, it's really it's really worth it. It's really worth it, everybody. And then I wish I could have done that. You know, I could have had my fun now, and you know, if I was really successful and all that stuff, I have my education and all that stuff, you know. You know, I'll be partying right now. I'll be I would I would I would have if I would have gone to school right now, I mean before, um, in my younger age when I was 18, I think I would have been much, much, much successful right now, you know. But it didn't happen. It didn't happen because of my lazy ass just wanted to just stay home and sleep and just fucking party all the time and drink and all that stuff and just ignore the studies and the education. So, you know, I mean, just keep that in mind, everybody. So just keep that in mind, yeah. So today's my birthday, everybody. So that's that's the whole meaning. Because I'm 53, you know, 53 years old, time went time one bike so quick, you know, and just really recovering. We just celebrated my birthday on Sunday. We went to Disneyland and California Adventures on all that stuff. You know, that's a good place to go. We uh our next our next uh trip is gonna be Universal Studios because we want to do that, the new ride, the Fast and the Furious ride that just popped out of there and stuff like that. Can't wait for that one. I mean, I was telling Remo and my family, my nieces and my nephew, we're telling, you know what, let it let it let it make six more months or let it go for right now because it's pretty it's a new ride. I'm afraid, I'm I'm worried if we go in, go on it, it's gonna get stuck. Let I mean let it let something happen first. You know, God forbid, I hope nothing does. But like
401k Advice And Starting Young
Joeright now, that new ride is just barely open, and uh they were testing it out once they were announcing it. So I'm just gonna I'd rather wait. Because uh, I don't know, when it's a new ride, if it's a new ride, I hope I'm not the only one that thinks this. But if it's a new ride, I would just rather wait, you know, because it's a fresh ride, anything could happen, or it could be a failure or something like that. I mean, I'd rather wait. That's just me. Don't follow my opinion on that. I mean, that's just me with the way I think. But uh yeah, so our next step is uh our next goal, our next vacation, or or short vacation, whatever you want to call it, it's gonna be Universal Studios. And we're we're thinking of going maybe another month or so, so we'll see how that works. Boy, all this talking um kind of dries up my throat. So I'm just drinking a little water right now. I was just getting choked up right now because um, you know, it's a lot of talking, you know. So I sometimes I get congested and all that stuff. I get my my uh what do you call it? Allergies and all that stuff. All of a sudden, when you start talking, I'm getting choking up and all that stuff I'm choking up and all that. But yeah, so it's it's that's our next goal is going to Universal Studios. So we've been there a couple of times. Um, Remo and his daughter and I. We we go we go there most of the time because it I think it's more cheaper than Disneyland, you know, the the gold ticket, the annual passes. Uh we were thinking getting the the gold ticket, uh gold annual pass, or the well, I'm thinking getting the platinum because it comes with the horror nights. So we want to go to the horror nights, and it comes with the platinum ticket, the annual passes. So we we're trying to we're just thinking about it right now. So which one to go on, what what annual pass to get. So I mean it's more, it's I think it's more budgetable, you know. If you have a budget, I think the best way is to go to Universal Studios. Because I think you put down $200 and then you pay like at least $14 a month. I think that I think that's not bad. You know, that's not bad. Then um what we're trying to get the annual passes to Universal Studios. And um it's uh I mean it's real interesting if you guys like uh Paramount and all that stuff, Universal, like Woody Will Packer, all the characters there, you know, that wanna go to the Harry Potter, right? Because I like the Harry Potter trilogy. So I like to go to the Harry Potter, and and it's a beautiful scene, it's like the castle there. You know what they should change it, like they should make that like Disneyland, you know, go into the castle, the Harry Potter. That would that'll be real awesome, huh? So it'll be a good take to go to make it, make that castle look like the Disneyland castle and all that stuff. So, well, it's already too late. It's already done, it's a done deal, it's just there, just to make that go to that ride. You know, I enjoy I enjoy that ride a lot, you know. You know, it's real good. And then the Transformers ride is really good. I like that. The Transformer, the one that's my really my real, real favorite one is the Mummy ride, everybody. Has everybody gone to the Mummy ride? The mummy ride's really awesome. It's really quick and fast. It's real quick and fast, but it's it's it's it's overwhelming. I like it. It's uh it's a fun ride, everybody. It's a fun ride. Yeah. So, yeah, so I'm not gonna do nothing much for my birthday. You're just gonna just chill, you know, relax, get ready to go to work the next day. So after this day, I'm gonna go to work and make up for what I lost for yesterday's work, and so we'll see what happens from there. And um, we've got like, you know, it's just the way it is, guys. That's life. We have to work, and we have we do this for our living, for our hobby. Um, the our podcast, we do this for a hobby, you know, just to let's conversations we want to talk about, you know, what's going on around the world. Um, yeah, we just mentioned what's going on. We're just mostly like giving you guys more information out there because mostly all you listeners out there,
Universal Studios Plans And Favorite Rides
Joeyou guys are tuning in to podcasts, everything, and all that stuff. I don't I don't think everybody listens to radio anymore, you know. Uh terrestrial radio anymore. So that's what I'm thinking that everybody just goes to podcasting and stuff like that. So because you know the terrestrials, you hear like radio music, everybody hears their music, right? And all they do is play the same music every day, right? So everybody's just going to the platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and they listen to their music what they want to hear now, you know. Because terrestrial Radio now, these days, they play the same music, the same music every day, like every 40 minutes, I think. Every 40 minutes you hear the same music repeating itself. And there's a lot of telemusic that the artists created, like different music, different type of song, you know. So it's always repeating the same music over and over again, every 40 minutes, you know. So continue to go to your platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and that's you could find us like there too. You can find us there. And we're in Odyssey Creators app now, everybody, so you could you know check it out. If you guys are first time podcasters, if you guys uh are into being the podcast, you could start with uh Odyssey Creators Lab, everybody. I mean I mean, don't get me wrong, Buzz Pro was treating us good, you know, it was a good uh carrier, but it didn't help me as much. It's charging me to you know to put my my podcast out there, you know, to every platform right there, like Amazon and all that stuff. I thank them for that, you know. I thank them. But in this one, I'm not even paying it, you know, I'm not paying it. Just you just apply, and all you're doing is uh uh putting your episodes on and then you're getting some uh monetize monetization on your creator lab, the Odyssey. So it's a it's it's it's a different career, and I I'm enjoying it because I'm getting paid for the commercials, you know. It's not much, but it's there. It's it's it's you know, it's just you're just getting paid every time while someone's hearing your podcast. And uh, and and BuzzPraw didn't do that, you know. I mean, uh, the podcaster choose who you want to. If the if the podcaster is like, oh, let me, I'll I'll approve them, you know. It depends on that, you know. So you gotta get approved for you to be a monetary, get monetized, to be having an ad and all that stuff, you know. So I don't know. I mean, Buzz Pro was good. Don't get me wrong. It was good. I mean, I enjoyed it for what, three years already? So now we're not in there anymore, so we're not. I mean, you could look us up. You could look us up, you could support us in uh Buzzsprout. Um, you could go to the talkers.bussprout.com. I mean, we're still there. I mean, we're we're we're not gone. We're not gone yet, you know. So you could look us up and support us there. You could hear our episodes there. But uh well, I mean, uh, it's you know, I mean, it's a it's time for the new change, you know what I'm saying? It's it's a it's a it's time for a new change. Let's do something different, you know. You know, because you want to look for a place that you can you want to get paid for, you know. You're not just you you know, you're waiting and waiting and waiting for the you know for them to pay you for the for the ads. So I wasn't getting that. Well, I mean, we weren't getting that. Uh Thee Gooch and I and Remo weren't getting that. So uh Creator Audacy Creator Lab does that. So it's it's real good, it's awesome. And I I'm I'm I was um spectable, uh skeptical, skeptical. I was really skeptical for it. So, you know, it's the way it is, everyone. It's uh we're really skeptical, and I didn't believe it, so now I'm looking at it, and yeah, it's you I notice a difference. I really notice a difference on this um new site right here Audacy Creator Lab. I really notice a difference. So we'll see what happens, you know. We'll see what happens on the future with this new carrier we're on. And um yeah. Um they welcome me with open arms, so I just want to say thank you, and yeah, so that's my explanation on that, you know. So just bear bear with me right now, because I just really I'm really recovering for Sunday, so and yesterday, so I had a couple of those beers right now, so I know I kind of sound a little off, and um just just I mean, uh it's been a while having done this for myself. It's been a while haven't done this by myself talking to you guys out there, so yeah. So I'm really enjoying my 53th 53th birthday. June 16th, everybody, it's my birthday, you know. So yeah, I'm just gonna I'm just gonna chill, relax, enjoy the day, and rest like an old man that I am, and stuff like that. But you know, but I don't feel it. I don't feel old. There's people that do, there's people that don't. But you know, it's just a metaphor speaking, like, you know, you say you're 53 and you're getting old, you know, things like that. I know, but I you know, I don't feel it. I feel like more energized and all that stuff, you know. So yeah, I mean, I really I don't I don't feel it. I don't feel like I'm old. I just you know, sometimes when you get tired, you just say stupid nonsense like, oh, I'm getting old for this shit, you know, things like that. You know? I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. You know, I just just I don't know. I don't know. It's uh weird, you know. I'm just a weird guy, you know. So if you guys want to help us out, you guys wanna uh tip us for our show, you could go to our our QR code there. It's uh PayPal. You could donate or tip us for, you know, just you know, if we make you laugh out there and all that stuff. So you guys wanna tip us, go to our PayPal on the QR code right there, everyone. Check it out, and we'd love to help you make you laugh out there. You know what I'm saying? Love to make you guys laugh. We want to be like the little paiyasos that we are, little clowns in English, you know, things like that like that. But yeah. So it's been a while. I haven't done this by myself, you know. It feels kind of like if I'm talking to myself, you know. But yeah, just uh it's been a while. I mean, it's been like what, like maybe I'll say like nine months. I haven't done it by myself. So we've been busy, actually. I've been busy. I mean, going to Disneyland often, and the Gucci has been busy too with his work, you know, and Remo just found a good job. You know, I'm happy for Remo because he had a he got a new job. You know, he was I don't know if you heard the previous episode. He fell off the wagon, so he was doing a little kind of like he was on the root on the bad side, you know, things like that. So he was going to what was it, rehab? He was on the rehab, so now he's doing good. He found a new job, he's helping him out. He's doing good. I'm happy for them. I'm happy for him. So yeah, he's doing good. He's I'm working. I would rather let him explain what kind of duties he has he's doing. I need I think he's doing maintenance work and where his new job. So in a little while, when he comes in, like when we do a live broadcast on YouTube music and all that stuff, and on YouTube, we should be being live next week. So we we do our lives every Saturday, okay? So when I do my podcast, we do it, I do it recording. I do recording and we do it live when uh Gucci and Remo are on live. So basically, I do mine secondhand, so but yeah. Mine is secondhand, we do the recording, so yeah. So things are when I feel bored, when I'm not up to it, I I just stay home and relax. But on when I'm feeling bored and I need something to say, this is a time. So this is a time, everybody's yeah. I don't know, man. Just Remo's doing good. My brother De Gucci and Remo's my brother, too. My both brothers are doing good. So yeah, they're he finally find a job and he's busy, you know. So I'm more powerful than him, and I'm proud of him and all that stuff. And and I just there you go, Remo. Nothing to it. Nothing to it. And um, yeah, so our QR codes right there. The host, Joel Remo, and the Gooch. Uh, if you guys want to tip us for our show and all that stuff, and you know, we want to thank you, all your listeners out there for downloading. Thank you very much for downloading. Thank you very much. And yeah, just it's a hot day. It's uh really hot. I mean, for me, it's hot. I don't know, for some reason. It says 71 degrees in the
Why Podcasts Beat Terrestrial Radio Now
Joehighs. It feels kind of hot for some reason. I don't know. What do you guys think out there? You know, you know, really hot. It depends where you're at, I guess, you know. You know, but it's uh it's really it's and I don't I really don't like this weather. I don't like summer, you know. I really want it to be winter already, you know. I'm a winter guy. I don't know what you guys out there. You guys are a winter person or summer person, spring person, fall person, and all that stuff, but I don't know, I don't like summer. I mean the only summer I the reason why I like summer sometimes is when you go out for your vacation and all that stuff, you know, things like that. You know what? I don't I don't like taking long vacations. When you're working, I really don't take uh like to take long vacations, you know? Because you we have two days off, right? I uh only have Saturday, Sunday, or you know, Sunday, Monday off, right? And I I don't like to take the whole week. Because when you come back from work, you you you're fresh, you're like, oh fuck, yeah, you forget things, you know. I don't know, that's just me. But I don't know about you guys out there, but I feel like I I um when I'm too fresh, like I'm just brand new, like you just came out of the shower, you're fresh, and all that stuff, and you just start your day again, you're back to your you're back from your vacation, you're going back to work, you're just like you feel a little off, like you you like you forget well, okay, where I'm at now, okay, where I'm at. That's all you get sometimes. You still I mean you start on the wrong foot. Even when you get on when you get to work late, you know, that's how it feels like you're starting on the wrong foot. Fuck, I was fucking late to work. Oh shit, because of the fucking traffic. And then you go back to work, you're your hour, you go to work hour late to work, and you start on the wrong foot. You're having a bad day. Well, that's how it happens to me. I don't know, maybe it's just me. I don't know, I don't know, just talking nonsense, but that's the way I am. You know, that's why I don't like taking long vacations. I like to take like at least two days and I'm good, or one day, or three days, you know. Like I have Sunday, Monday off, and then I just take that one off, one day off, and I'm good. I'm good. As long as or four days, it doesn't matter. But I really don't like to take the whole two weeks or a whole week. I'll just at least three or four is good. You know, there's people that take more than two weeks. Maybe because they have more PTOs than I do, but sometimes I just don't like to over do my vacations. But like I was supposed to go to Vegas this July with the family, with uh sexy pants and his brother and all his Chico Checks and all that stuff with his family this on July on July, actually. I was supposed to go to Vegas, but I I I couldn't afford it, you know. To be honest, I couldn't afford it. And I I and that's too much vacation because last year we went, uh you know, I I mean I for I could afford it last year, but this year I couldn't. And I'm and when I went when I came back from vacation vacation last year when I went to Vegas with my family, with uh Sexy pants and uh and his brother Chico Chex. When I came back to work, I was still in Vegas. Like, gosh, I was like, oh my gosh, I didn't want to work. I didn't feel like working. I I was feeling it like two weeks, like people were telling me, You're still in Vegas, and I go, Yeah, I'm still in Vegas. You know, I got used to it being in Vegas. Kind of you get spoiled because um, you know, you had a great time. I mean, I know I'm not the only one that feels that, but when you come back after that two weeks' vacation from Vegas or one week, you come back to work, you're still in Vegas, or you're still on that vacation, or you're still in Disneyland and all that stuff. That's the way I felt. And I go, I go, no more, no more of that. And and I couldn't afford it because it's you got to take a lot of money to go to Vegas, you know. I mean if I'm gonna go to Vegas, I'm not gonna spend in slot machines and all that stuff. If I'm if I'm gonna be a true Vegas guy. I got to go on the tables. And I don't have enough money for to go to the tables. I know it takes like five bucks and all that stuff and this and that, but you got to have plenty of money to take. You know? You have I mean, I'm I'm not that guy that takes enough money to go to Vegas because I don't wanna spend it because you know I it people go to Vegas to to go gamble, but you're still losing. They're just taking your money. You know, they're just taking your money and it you got to know how to save it, you know, or know how to gamble on that stuff. Some people don't go gambling, they just go out there just to for the scenery to go have a good time, drink, and all that stuff, and just
Remo Update And Live Show Schedule
Joeto walk around and see the nice scenery there. Believe it or not, it's a lice there's a there's a lot of nice sceneries to go over there to view everything in Vegas, you know. So I mean that that would be me. I would go over there just to look around, see what's going on, enjoy the the day, enjoy the vacation, enjoy the the spa, the swimming pool, and all that stuff. That's me. I mean, if I'm gonna go to Vegas, I think I'm gonna I'm just gonna take a thousand dollars, you know. I mean that it that's not even enough. You know, why go? You know, so I'd just rather go to Disneyland, enjoy with my family, like with my birthday and all that stuff. So I'd rather I I mean it was because I couldn't I couldn't afford to go to Disneyland. I mean, um to Vegas this year. I wanted to go to Vegas, but I'm not gonna go to Vegas without money, you know. I mean, I'm not gonna hug them, I'm not gonna hug up my cousin's money, you know, because I'm broke. My broke ass is broke and shit like that, you know? And I'm not gonna make them buy me food and all that shit. I mean, I don't like that. I mean, I would like I I mean I it doesn't bother me, but I mean I'm pretty sure it probably bothers them. I don't know. You know, I cannot read their minds, but man, I don't like to, I don't want to do that, you know. They help me a lot and all that stuff, and I don't want to take advantage of it. So I just I just I think I just told them, you know what I'm out and this time you know I don't know. I don't want I don't I don't I don't want to go to Vegas broke. I don't want to go to Vegas broke. I want to go to Vegas if I had money and shit like that. I want to go to Vegas when I'm rich. How about that? That's key, right? You gotta go to Vegas when you have money. I don't have money. Not for Vegas, not this year, not this time, not this time. I'd love to, but I don't know. I feel like if I were gone, I would like, oh shit, buy me something, they're gonna buy me food. I mean, come on, fuckery, don't you have fucking money? You know. I mean, I don't blame them. You know. We went to the house kitchen last year. I I forgot where it w what or where it was, but man, I thought we were gonna put like less food. You know, when you go to a restaurant and they put a picture, and you know, that's it's a big plate, and when you get the picture, it's kind of like opposite, actually. So you see a big picture, it's it's a it's it's a meal, it's it's real large. They put uh like
Weather Talk And Short Vacation Philosophy
Thee Goocha lot, but when you get the plate, it's a little bit, right? Well, this one we went to the house kitchen, it's Ramsey's house kitchen. I forgot, somewhere in Las Vegas. I forgot which one it was. It was a little portion of like uh a meal plate, right? And it's really small. We thought it was a gonna it's gonna be a small plate and all that stuff, and the meat. They make you show you the meat and like what kind of meat you want. I mean, I love meat, like steak and all that stuff. They show you what kind of what kind of steak you want. So I picked this one, T-bone steak, right? Whatever you, whatever it was. When they brought that fucking steak to our table, I mean, not only me, my whole cousin's plate was fucking, it was a lot. Even the side orders. I thought what the side orders were gonna be a lot, like mashed smashed potatoes, no, not smashed, it's it's mashed, mashed potatoes, mashed with the M. My grammar's bad, huh? Well, mashed potatoes, and you got rice and all that stuff, beans and whatever. It was a lot. And then the whole fucking shit was like at least a thousand dollars for all of us right there, you know. I go, fuck. Every pay was like 400 bucks, I think. No, wait, am I exaggerating? Somewhere around there. So my cousin ended up spending a thousand dollars for all of us, you know. And I felt bad, you know. I got I only gave him $100, you know. I got full like a like a cheapskate and all that stuff, and and I I don't like to do that, you know. If I'm gonna have money to go to some places, I gotta fucking give him money. Hey, I gotta give you this because, you know, I felt bad, you know, because he spent a lot for that fucking plate. You know, I think that oh the each plate was three hundred dollars. Imagine that. Three dollars. I mean three hundred dollars. You know. And it was a good plate. Don't get me wrong. It was fucking full. I mean, I was full. I couldn't eat no more. It was enough. So if you go to Hell's what's the name, Ramsey Hell's Kitchen somewhere in Vegas, and I just choose wisely, man, because it's it's a lot. It fooled us up, and I was already fucking full. I was like, oh my gosh, I feel like throwing up, you know? And um, yeah. So choose wisely how you pick your orders, man, because those pictures look like it's the it's like reverse. Like you see a big picture and it's large and it looks like it's a lot and all that stuff, and it's a huge picture, and you get the picture. I mean, if you get the meal, you get the meal, it's a lot, it's all it's a little bit. I mean, I'm here contradicting my words, and um it's a when you see a big picture, ends up being a little bit. But when you see a little picture with little things inside, and then when you get the the meal, it's a lot. I don't know, it's kind of a little opposite, you know, the way I see it, you know. But yeah, so I felt bad, you know. So I now this time I'm not gonna go to Vegas. I don't have that money, and you you gotta get prepared, you gotta go prepared. Last year I was prepared. I'm going to Vegas, and I wanna go. I was like, I wanna go, but nah, I just gonna I'll set this one out. I told him, you know what, Penimos, I'll set this one out. I mean, I mean, it's you guys, you're the family. I mean, you got your Chico Chicks, his kids, and like his son and daughter, his wife and his brother. So, you know, let them go, let them enjoy their family time, you know. I'm I'm I'm I'm trying to get away to you know not to get involved with their their family things and like that, but you know, I just couldn't I just couldn't do it this year. It's a lot of money. I'm I'm I'm I'm poor. I'm just you know the press, broke ass man, old man on my birthday, you know. But um yeah, I know just feeling sorry for myself. It's not it's not a good thing. But but I know, I mean, I mean, I'm thinking I'm doing okay. I mean, you know, I just it's not the time to go to Vegas for me, you know, just money-wise, financially, it's like fuck, you know. You gotta have like at least five thousand dollars to go there. Or three, I mean at least two thousand, you know. But I don't have it. Not this year. What happened? You know? What happened? What happened? You know. I mean, I mean, you gotta think about it. I I'm spending money for gas. I I I work 55 minutes away from my from my from my work, from where I live. It's 55 minutes to go to work. That's a long drive. You know, and plus a gas is like fucking 570 right now, you know? Believe it or not, you know, this governor is fucking. Oh, but it's not I don't even think it's the governor or the president, it has nothing to do with it. It's just the oil fineries that are just raising up the fucking prices, you know, things like that. But it's true. I mean, it has nothing to do with the governor or the president. It's the oil fine, the oil fineries that are raising up the prices. It has nothing to do with the president or the governor or the mayor, you know, things like that. But yeah, I mean the gas, once the gas went out, go, I'm fucked. There goes my money. You know, it's draining me out. Where I going to work and coming back. Imagine I got to drive 55 miles away, and plus there's traffic when I'm coming home. Or when I'm getting out of work, there's traffic, you know. That's like, and then you're stalled in the freeway. I mean, it's like they do it on purpose, you know, when they're fixing the streets like uh Caltrans and all that, fucking cleaning the freeways, you know, out 12 o'clock, everybody's fucking going to lunch or coming out of work, you know, things like that. You know, I mean,
Skipping Vegas Money Gas And Hell’s Kitchen
Thee Goochcome on. But once they and I knew that when they it has nothing to do with the war either, but once they rose that fucking price to the when the gas went up to six dollars already, like oh I'm done. I'm I'm I'm already cooked. I'm cooked. You know, I'm done, I'm not going to Vegas. It it fucking drained me out. And and I'm I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one, but it yeah, it it you know, it's like fuck, I got to find a nearby location for my job. I got to like transfer to somewhere or transfer to the same location, like LA or something, but going going where I work, it's like draining me out. 55 minutes away, coming back and back and forth is like oh my gosh, it's killing me. It's killing my car too, you know. But yeah. It's uh I mean I think that's what killed me. You know, the gas. If if the gas was like at least like three dollars or four dollars, I would have been cool. The money would have been saved. I would have probably gone to Vegas. But yeah, just it's the way it is. I would love to go to Vegas, you know. That's one of my favorite vacations too, to go. But I think this time is I I just I had to set this one out. And I think it's either go to Disneyland or or Universal Studios, you know. I know Disneyland's expensive, but at least we're here I could just, you know hold my financial. I could like go and I and I'm gonna spend because you know I fucking don't have no money. But if I would have gone to Vegas with just without any money, you know, I would have like probably been going overdraft or something like that, you know. I don't I don't want to fucking overdraft, you know, like you know, crazy. I'd be overdrafting like crazy. You know. But yeah, so I'm gonna set this one out, you know. So it's sad. It's sad. I mean, I and I wanted to go and have fun and enjoy my vacation in June. I mean, I think we're going in July, but they're going in July, so I just said, you know what, I'm just gonna sit down. Sit down, sit this one out, you know. So the family's going in July, and I'm just gonna stay home and go to work and while they're having their vacation, you know. So it's like, you know, it's kind of dumb. Thank you. Um but yeah, so I think this is it, guys.
