What's up, what's up? What's up everybody? What's up, what's up? This is Thee Talkers Podcast, Unscripted. My name is Joel. How's everybody doing out there, thank you, thank you. Thank you for tuning in and listening in. I want to thank all the new listeners that just joined us and learning about our podcast. Thank you everybody, thank you, thank you, thank you. What a beautiful day today. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What a beautiful day today. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's up everybody? What's up? Los Angeles I'm on my own today. It's very cool. How's everybody doing out there? I'm enjoying my day off today, thank you, thank you.
Joe:Well, you know it feels all right. You know I was exhausted mentally coming out from work. I mean, I got the day over with. It was a really long day. But you know, sometimes you get a little troubles in here and there at work. You know, sometimes it's not your day. You know, I think I had a bad day at work most of the time. I mean sometimes, you, I mean it's what it is, man, everybody has a bad day, right? So it's what it is. So I can't complain. I'm getting paid, that's all that matters. I mean I don't just just don't sit around at home. You know, at least I'm being occupied, at least you know something like that, not moping around.
Joe:But someday I wish I could just win that $579 million in California lottery, the mega. You know that's what I'm shooting for right now. All my dreams will come true if that happens. You know. Win the big money right there. You know, win the big money right there, you know. So let's hope I win it and maybe it would do some you know, real expensive giveaways. You know I'll be real awesome, huh, and then, um, maybe I'll help my family with the money that I win.
Joe:If I win the 500 million dollars, I mean it's almost like what a quarter billion dollars. I mean she's, that's a lot of money right there. 530, I mean it's almost like what a quarter billion dollars. I mean, geez, that's a lot of money right there. 530, I think it's 100, I think it's 537 dollars right now, or 567. Let me check. Let me check what's going on with that. I mean I'm, I'm playing, I'm playing it, but you know, I just don't know it yet, but last time I saw it was 537. So it's $575 million guys. Wow, imagine that.
Joe:What would you guys do with that money? Would you go out? Would you quit your job or something like that. What would you guys do, I mean, I think, if I would win the $570 million? I think I won't work. I'm gonna, I'm gonna be honest with you. I don't think I will ever work. I mean, I think I'll just quit, you know, maybe spend my 401k money, you know who knows? I mean, dude, 575 million dollars, that's a lot of money, I mean that's.
Joe:I mean I'm 51 years old. I think that will last a lifetime. Right now I would enjoy my life, go traveling or somewhere. But let me tell you one thing If I travel, I'm not going on a plane, I'm not going to no fucking plane out there. But I'm just going to be honest with you. I'm not going to no plane, but I think I'll probably go to a car, travel on a car. I think, from what I heard, it's more safer on a plane than traveling on car or going on a boat or train. Because what are the odds? Right, but no, I see that happen. Going on a plane, uh-uh, I'm not going to go to the plane when I'm traveling. I don't even think I'll go cross seas, you know overseas, you know, like, go to Hawaii. I mean, I know Hawaii is really good to go travel over there to spend your vacation. But I don't know, to me, flying over there, crossing over the seas, over the ocean, and all that stuff, I don't think I could manage that. I think I'm scared of flying and stuff like that. Yeah, I'm scared of flying, to be honest.
Joe:But $575 million and the mega millions, oh man, I'm just hoping I win it. I mean, so far far, I won $2. The last week's ticket I won $20. And that was good. So I just bought another ticket for $10. But, like you know how it happens, you lose it and then you play again. So I bought another $10 worth, but I won $2 back. You know, but it's the way. Two bucks back, you know. But um, it's the way it is, you know it's. That's the way gamble works, you know.
Joe:So, yeah, what would you guys do with that money?
Joe:If you went, that $575 million or maybe a billion dollars, what would you guys do out there? Would you quit your job or something like that? Or would you go travel? Would you still work in travel? Will you still work? In other words, will you still work out there? I mean, if you win a million dollars or a billion? I mean, what about if it's a million dollars? Will you still work, even though if it's a million dollars? I mean for me, if it's a million dollars, one million, I'll still work. Okay, let's be honest, we'll still work. I'll still work. Okay, let's be honest, we'll still work, I'll still work. But if it's a quarter billion dollars, I think that's it for me for working.
Joe:You know, with that money I could just help my family out or I could just go traveling or something and buy maybe like five cars, buy me a house, invest it on, you know, in property and all that stuff. You know I'll start investing in property and all that stuff. You know I'll start investing a property. You know stuff buying another house, you know, start renting them out, things like that. Um, but yeah, but 575 million right now, that is the jackpot right now. So we, I just gotta wait tuesday and start paying again.
Joe:But I don't know how these people do it that win the money. I mean some people say it's fixed. You know it's all like a fix and all that stuff. So I don't think so. I think it's just you just get lucky. You know, sometimes you get people. People are just damn lucky, a lot of people that have money. They spend a lot of money to earn a lot of money. That's how it works. You, the more the money you make, the more money you make and all that stuff. The the spend you make. How does it go? What's that saying the more money you spend, the more money you earn. I mean, that's that's what. That's what they say, that's the. The whole um slogan is, I guess, the whole term. You got to spend money to make more money. That's how it goes. But I don't know. But that's what I'm doing. The more I'm spending money, I'm going to have to earn that money back.
Joe:You break out even. In other words, I mean it doesn't hurt to try. It only takes $2. Before it was takes two dollars. All right, before it was a dollar. Now they raise it up to two. Um, now I'm worried about someday they're gonna raise it to three dollars per, per line, per box.
Joe:You know to to play the mega million or any lottery like the powerball and all that stuff, super lotto things like that fantasy five and all that stuff. But, um, I want to. The peoples are are playing the Mega Millions and the Powerball. I want to wish them luck because I would like to win that $575 million and it's growing. I've got to see on Tuesday how much it would be, maybe $600 million. So let's just hope for that.
Joe:But I think I will quit my job if I win the Mega Millions or any lottery. But if it's a $1 million jackpot, nah, I think I'll still work. I think I'll still work because the way the inflation is with $1 million, I don't think it will last as long as you invest it. If you're really tight with your money and you still have that $1 million and you're investing, I'll give you kudos for it. I mean me, I love to spend. Okay, I'm going to be honest with you. I love to spend a lot of money and I'm also like to give a lot of things, you know. So that's my reason I will still work if I win 100. I mean, I'll still work if I win a million dollars, one million dollars, I will still work, because I spend a lot. I spend on stupid things like toys and all that stuff, and I'm a grown-ass man, you know, I'm a grown-ass man and I'm still, um, you know, buying toys. You know, and my, my father once told me that while you're buying these toys, you don't even open them, you don't even play them. He's right, it's just a collectible item. Maybe someday I could sell it in eBay up for more, twice as much as the way I bought it. The toy could cost $5. In eBay, they probably buy it. They probably buy it for twenty dollars. Um, the price goes up, you know. So this is why I collect toys and I save it for collectors item and all that stuff. And then maybe someday, you know, it's going to be worth more than the average retail price is. So, yeah, yeah, like I said again, I mean, I wish everybody luck out there. Whoever wins that $575 million. It's going to increase more by Tuesday, maybe like $600 million.
Joe:Oh my gosh, I just, you know, I pray, I pray, I pray. I win this money. You know I'm sorry, I don't mean to pray. I always ask the Lord. I don't mean to pray, I always ask the Lord. I didn't mean to pray in vanity, like things like that, because you weren't supposed to pray for things like that to God. You know, I want this, I want that. You know God gives you what he can, you know. But I mean sometimes we need that. I always ask the Lord, I always pray. You know I'm sorry for praying like this, but I really need to pay my bills and my debts and all that stuff and help my family in a situation like that.
Joe:But yeah, I mean I think it's like how these lucky people spend a lot of money and they win this jackpot, because there's a few out there that won a billion dollars on the mega or the Powerball one time.
Joe:How do they do it? I mean they. I mean, do they work, are they doctors, or that spending money you know to to win more. It's like the rich get richer, you know, and the poor get poor. You know we spend a lot of money for the well, it's like going to vegas, you know you go to the casino and you spend money and you lose, and you lose, you keep losing, you keep losing. But you, that's the way it is. I guess we're suckers, you know, for gambling and all that stuff. I mean, when I go to Vegas I don't really don't gamble anymore. I don't go over there and there's tables, no more. I mean, because you go to the tables you got to spend a lot to be in the tables. You know, like $5. I mean, $5 is $5. I could buy a little Subway sandwich at Subway or something like that. But it's what it is.
Joe:Gambling is an addiction. Sometimes you need help on that. I mean, I get addicted to playing the lottery. Sometimes you got to stop your moment and you can't spend, because the more you spend you're going to lose your money and you're going to be broke for the rest of the week. So I try to play it cool. Once I see the high jackpot value, I play. But when I see it like it's dropped, I stopped playing. I got a cool down for a little while.
Joe:Let me stop playing the laurel for a little while, but, um, yeah, I mean, what would you guys do out there you were, you guys still work if you win this money, this jackpot, the, the jackpot of those 576 million dollars, and then it's gonna create and it's gonna increase more. It's going to increase and, um, I, I just I'm gonna pay it um, tomorrow when I go to work, I'm gonna stop by a 7-eleven and I'm just gonna, you know, play maybe like ten dollars worth of um my own numbers. Sometimes I do um quick pick, but what are your chances? Sometimes I do quick pick, but what are your chances winning with a quick pick? You know, I mean, there's some people that win with quick pick. A lot of people play, a lot of people choose their own numbers, and sometimes I do quick pick and I use my own numbers and things like that.
Joe:I try to play around with the numbers. You know I'm bad with numbers, you know things like that that I try to play around with the numbers. You know I'm I'm bad with numbers, you know things like that. But, um, yeah, I mean I'm so thrilled this um jackpot on the mega millions. Right now it's really 576 million and I think you the lump sum is, um, let's see, it's 500 million, 75. So your lump sum, your estimate cash value, will be 285 and and $500 million you'll get back. The government takes the rest. I mean it's kind of like chicken shit, you know, but you know the government takes the rest the IRS or whatever. But hey, $285 million back it's still good. You know, like, if you get $500 million, I mean if you get 500 million, I mean if you get one billion dollars, if the mega million was one billion dollars, I mean the government would take 500 million dollars.
Joe:So you, you just save, um, you just have a quarter billion. So it's pretty good. You know, I think it's good. 575 million, I mean that's pretty good. I mean it looks like it's a little, but it's a lot. It's a lifetime. Especially in my age, it's a lot.
Joe:So with that money, if I were to win this money, I'll quit my job, like I said, and I'll help my family. I'll buy my sister a house and my brother a house, things like that. You know, buy my sister a house and my brother a house, things like that, you know, and maybe invest it on my podcast. I'll make my own studio or something like that. That's what my plans are and do a lot of giveaways. You know, invest on that and save it. You know, invest it in other things, you know. So that way I don't have to lose it. So I just hope I win this million. There's 575 million. So it just hope I win this million, this $575 million. So it's a good thing. You know, I mean I don't play often, but when I know I'm in a losing streak, you know, when I'm kind of running out of money, I kind of stop or lay low a little bit. But yeah. So it's kind of tricky, you know, playing the mega million, the lottery, you and all that stuff, so it's kind of addicting. But sometimes you got to lay low. You don't want to get broke out of it, you know. But yeah, it's kind of tricky. So I mean, I don't know, Are you guys out there are really into playing the lottery and all that stuff, the lotto and all that stuff? Because we got Powerball, we got the Mega, we got the Super Lotto, we got the Fantasy Five, you got Daily Four, daily Three and Daily Derby. I mean I don't play those because it's less value. It's like $64,000 or something, $67,000. And then you got Hotspot. I stick to the big time. You know the Powerball and the Mega Millions, and it's only $2. I'm just worried it might raise the price up again. You know, like now I'm going to put it to $3, you know $3 a box, but you know. So let's hope they don't do that, you know. So wish you guys luck out there and wish me luck over there. So yeah, forever wins that 575 million. It's up to grabs, guys. Oh, I can't wait. I just hope I win it. I just hope I win it. You know.
Joe:So nothing much. You know it's uh, it's. It's a beautiful day, it's 82 degrees in the highs and and it's cooling down. I notice it's kind of cooling down because once it reaches at 3 o'clock in the evening you can just feel the wind. It's like really breezy right now. So we're almost near fall.
Joe:So fall is on September 21st, the first day of fall. Then after that, on December 21st, will be first day of winter. So holidays are around the corner. So, yeah, I mean I just can't wait for winter or fall, it doesn't matter. I think fall and winter is like my best season and and I just can't wait, we could start wearing cozy clothing and all that stuff.
Joe:So, um, there's not much to say. I just want to hear that. You know just came here to talk. You know, yeah, um, I just can't believe that we're two years already in our podcast and um and restore, we're still going strong and um, and you know, I can't just remember the day when I was starting.
Joe:I mean I only started, started with just a basic microphone and a little basic little smart mixer. It's really I call it like a Japanese little mixer. I still have it. But the only thing that would bother me, I mean the sound was good and everything. The mixer was good, but the only problem was that what the mixer had with the buttons every time I throw a little sound effect, you could hear the clicking or the or the, the little clicking of the sound button, and you could just hear that. When I, every time I do a sound effect, um, you could just hear the click button, the button of the clicks or something like that. But I just can't believe it.
Joe:I mean now, like we're in 2024 it's been two years, our podcast and look, I got my my awesome mixer. I named her velma and I got my microphone, my road pod mic, and I got my interview pro from road and they work awesome. I invested on my podcast and we're doing good. Our ratings are doing good, our downloads are doing good so far and I want to thank all your listeners out there. If you guys want to support our show, it's only three dollars a month. You could cancel any time and you know we could also give you guys a shout out.
Joe:You know live and recording. I haven't been going on streaming lately because I like to do my recording just audio, and with the fellows I would like to do live streaming with YouTube and all that stuff and Facebook, and I really enjoy this. I really like doing my podcast and all this stuff. I'm barely getting to hanging with doing on my own and you know I'm trying to do some bits and all that stuff. So I have one bit, um. This bit it's is about, like you know, when you go to your app or you go to a website and you check, you know if, know you, there's an item that you need, desperately want that item, you know, but you go to the store. Well, this is a person, that a little bit, that this person goes shopping and her name is Yolanda. So I want you to hear this bit and, um, I hope you like it and enjoy Music, Music, music, music, music, music.
Speaker 3:Music, music, music, music, music, music, music, music. Let's see here they actually have five on stock. Let me see if they have it over here. I can't believe it. I hope they have it, because I didn't come over here for nothing For two hours Coming in a store. They have to at least have it. Let me check right here. I can't find it. It should be right here. They said they have five in stock. Should I talk to a manager or something? Let's see. Excuse me, sir, do you work here? I've been looking for these items and it says you have five on stock and I don't see them right here in the shelves, Ma'am.
Speaker 3:I think whatever we have there, that's it. But on your website, on your website it says. On your app it says that you have it online you have fire in stock maybe, ma'am, I'm sorry, but maybe those were lost or stolen goods, uh.
Joe:Or maybe they went to the claims department and one of our employees didn't zero it out in our system.
Speaker 3:Um, I could check in the back room if you want yes, please, because I really need this, this item, and I came all the way here for two hours and it just. You know, I could have went somewhere else.
Joe:I'm sorry, ma'am, that's your inconvenience. Let me go check in the back and I'll be right back, okay.
Speaker 3:Thank you, sir. Are you the manager or are you an employee?
Joe:I'm an employee, ma'am.
Speaker 3:Okay, I'll be right here.
Joe:Oh, okay, I'll be right back in five minutes, maybe ten minutes.
Speaker 3:Okay, okay, god man, I can't believe I've been waiting. Came all the way here for a note. I could have went to the one over there by Glendale. Jeez, jeez, I can't believe this. I'm on my day. I could have went to the other one. Jeez, all this happens. Why me?
Joe:God one. Oh, this happens, why me? Oh, ma'am, I went to the back and I was checking in every location where it's at for the item you're looking for. You're looking for that vacuum cleaner right, the S222-200?.
Speaker 3:That's correct.
Joe:Please tell me you have it. I'm sorry, ma'am. I checked everywhere inside the back room. And, um, I think it's uh, those five items that you were looking for were probably damaged or either stolen, but I'm pretty sure they were damaged. Uh, those five items that you we're looking at in the backyard, in the back room, um, I apologize, but um, I can't believe it.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I'm sorry, ma'am sorry yeah, but I came over here for two hours where I live and it says in your amp you have five in stock yeah, but those five were probably damaged and they went to claims department.
Joe:What we could do for you is we could order it, and and you could come back in two weeks and we have it on stock.
Speaker 3:I'm not going to do that. I mean, if I'm going to do that, I'm just going to go to the one over here by Glendale. I mean, I came all the way here to the San Gabriel and it says we have five on stock. So I took my chances because we had five. You know what I'm saying.
Joe:I understand that, ma'am, but what we could do, we could order it for you and you could come. In two weeks the item will arrive and we'll give you a call. We'll send you a text that the item that you received it arrived, so you could pick it up.
Speaker 3:Nuh-uh, I'm not going to drive two hours again to come over here and pick up the item that I just ordered. I'd rather like I'm here. I thought the items were unstocked, so I came over here. I could have done it. I could have went somewhere else.
Joe:I apologize, ma'am, I apologize. Do you want to speak to the manager?
Speaker 3:Yeah, I was going to tell you. Let me speak to a supervisor or a manager that's in charge of you guys.
Joe:I'm happy to call my supervisor or my manager to the store manager. I'll let them know what's the situation, okay.
Speaker 3:Yes, please. I mean it's ridiculous. I mean you guys haven't you have five stock and I came over here for two hours because I'm here, you know.
Joe:I get it, ma'am. I'm sorry, what's your name again?
Speaker 3:My name is Yolanda.
Joe:Okay, I'm the employee that works here. I am the stocker and I pick orders and all that stuff. So I'll get back to you and I'll tell the manager, okay.
Speaker 3:Please thank you, god, I can't believe this. Ah jeez, oh my gosh, two hours, I can't believe it. Two hours coming, can't believe it, two hours coming to the store. I just want to go over there. God, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no Okay.
Speaker 2:Hi ma'am. Hi Are you the manager. I'm the store manager. What can I help you? What can I assist you for today?
Speaker 3:Yeah, look, I came all the way here for two hours and thinking that I went to the app, to your store app, and looking for this vacuum cleaner, and it says you have five in stocks. I came over here all for nothing and you guys don't have it on stock. I talked to one of your employees and he says that there's none in the back. There must have been some confusion here or what's going on.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he was telling me about it, ma'am, I'm sorry, my name is Jeff, you could. He was talking to me about it and I told him that, okay, we'll assist her and I'll tell her, we'll order the item for you and you can pick it up in two weeks.
Speaker 3:But that's not what I want. I told him I don't want to come over here for two hours again, guys, in two weeks and you guys are going to order the product for me. I said, no, I don't want that.
Speaker 2:I understand that, ma'am, but the reason why it says we have five on stock is because one of our employees, when they picked the order, they didn't zero the item out Because there were claimed there were damaged products, and so there were five that we found and one of our employees didn't zero the item out on the system.
Speaker 3:Wow, what kind of store is this, when you guys don't take care of business here? I mean, I came over here two hours ago.
Speaker 2:I don't understand that, ma'am.
Speaker 3:No, I don't think you do, because I live two hours away and I came over here thinking that you have the items here in the store, five items. And then I come over here and you have the items are here in the store, five items. And then I come over here and you guys, nothing. It's like you guys are disorganized or something like that.
Speaker 2:I don't understand that I believe I understand that man. I understand your, your, your frustration and all the stuff where you had to come over here for two hours just thinking that we have the item. I'm sorry, man, but like we could do, we could the item for you and you can come back in two weeks, because that's how long the items will be shipped in. For two weeks, all you can do is just pay and then come back in two weeks.
Speaker 3:I'm not going to pay for that item and then for me to come here in two weeks. Perhaps if I come here in two weeks and I already have paid the item, what happens? If I pick up the item? It's already damaged too. How about that? I mean, I don't understand.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry, ma'am, that's the way it is. That's how our system works. It's due to a human error. There's not that much I can do. I'm sorry, ma'am.
Speaker 3:What's your name?
Speaker 2:My name is Jeff.
Speaker 3:Look, jeff. I mean, I don't understand. Do you live nearby here or something?
Speaker 2:I don't see what that has something to do with it, ma'am, but I do work nearby, I'm here, I live here, and I don't think that has nothing to do with our situation.
Speaker 3:I think it really does. I mean, I think you guys got to get your shit straight, because I came over here like again.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry, ma'am. I mean, there's nothing much I can do. All we're going to do. We're out of stock with that item the ones that were online. It was just a human error and one of our employees forgot to zero it out when there were damage claims. I'm sorry, ma'am, there's nothing much I can do. Maybe you want to come in two weeks. I'm sorry.
Speaker 3:Well, you know what?
Speaker 2:I guess I got to go somewhere else to another store, just like this one, but yeah, Well, I could check on the system where you could find it at, where's your location and where you live at.
Speaker 3:I don't think that concerns you, sir. Okay, where I live and all that stuff.
Speaker 2:I'm just trying to help you, ma'am.
Speaker 3:No, I mean it's too late. I mean I'm just going to go to another store and find that item.
Speaker 2:That's not what I'm saying. I said I could look it up in the system where you could look for it the nearby location where you live and I'll let you know where they have it at, so you don't have to go over there just for nothing. Perhaps they have like 10 items over there and you go over there. You're in the same location where you live at and you go over here.
Speaker 3:just the same situation that happened to you here. I don't know, but I don't care what you're saying, but I mean.
Speaker 2:Look, ma'am, I'm just letting you know I could call or look it up online.
Speaker 3:I could do it on myself okay.
Speaker 2:I could look it up for you right now so I could tell you, so you could go where you're at Just one day at a time. You could go straight over there and you could go directly, and just to be safe that you got the product over there.
Speaker 3:No, I'm just going to wait. It's already too late. My whole day is gone. I mean I spent two hours coming over here. I'd rather do it myself. I mean it's already too late. I mean those two hours are gone. I thought the five items were here and I think I'm just going to have to leave.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry, man, I'm just trying to help you.
Speaker 3:I know you're trying to help me. I know you're trying to help me. I mean, there's not that much you can do. My whole day is gone because I came all the way here thinking that the item was here. Maybe you should tell your employees to start doing their work right. Maybe they should stop playing around and start talking too much.
Speaker 2:You know what I'm saying? Well, I'm sorry, ma'am, but like I said, again, I could look it up for you.
Speaker 3:I could do that myself Right now. I could do that myself Right now. I could do that myself. I don't need your help. I mean, I want the item right now, today, while I'm here.
Speaker 2:Well, I'm sorry, ma'am, I mean, there's not that much I can do. I'm letting you know, I'm giving you my assistance, I'm helping you.
Speaker 3:I know you're helping me.
Speaker 2:I know you're helping me. There's nothing much I can do, ma'am. I mean, that's your choice. Well, I think I'm going to have to leave. Well, I'm sorry, ma'am, I really apologize. If you have any more questions, I could assist you.
Speaker 3:What I'm going to do.
Speaker 2:I probably have to call corporate office no man, I mean just corporate office won't tell you anything. They're just going to tell you there were damage claims or all that stuff.
Speaker 3:Well, they have to do something about this. They got to keep an eye on this store. I think they have to have more managers hired than you to take care of the store and keep an eye on this whole situation that's going on in your store.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry, ma'am, I'm sorry the way you feel about that, but we're trying to fix our ways of work here around our employees and we're trying to assist our customers and I'm trying to do my best to help you. Like I said again, I could look up the item and where the nearest location where they had the item, where you live at.
Speaker 3:No, I could do that by myself. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go over there and go home and I'm going to have to try another week, because my whole day is really gone already, because I came in two hours already.
Speaker 2:I understand that, ma'am, I understand. I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, I'm sorry.
Speaker 3:Marissa, I don't think you're sorry because you know the whole item. The item would have been deleted already. I don't even think you care about it. I don't even think you really, really worry about your customers, because you would have took care of that, okay, your employees would have took care of that, and now I'm empty-handed. I'm empty-handed now because I wanted the item and I'm right here thinking, you know, maybe I'm not the only one that's complaining about this. There's a lot of customers that are probably complaining about this, and I know it's not only me.
Speaker 2:No, I know, ma'am, we get this situation all the time. We're trying to fix our work, our employees. We're trying to do the best we can, okay, I mean, I know, yes, you're right, you're not the only one.
Speaker 3:I know I'm not the only one. I know I'm not the only one. You know what? Forget it, fuck this, I'm not going to deal with this anymore. Okay, I'm just going to make my business elsewhere, go where I live. And now I got to wait to next week to do this. No, this is bullshit. You guys got to have to, you got to get your shit together, you know.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry, man. I'm sorry, you feel this way.
Speaker 3:No, you're, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for the start. You got to get your shit together.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry. What's your name again?
Speaker 3:I don't have to tell you my name. You know already what kind of manager are you. You forgot my name already.
Speaker 2:Well, I'm sorry, man.
Speaker 3:No, I don't have to tell you my name. I'm sorry I came in this stupid store.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry. Have a nice day.
Speaker 3:Nice day. You gave me a bad day and have a nice day. I'm sorry. Sorry for you, Stupid star. God for nothing.
Joe:Jeez, I'm sorry. Well, there you have it everybody. Man, what a situation. I mean, what would you do in that situation, you know, you mean you're looking for an item, you go for two, two hours and the item's not even there in the store. I mean, what would you do in that situation? And I mean I don't blame yolanda, actually, but in a way it's kind of the store's fault, but yet it's yolanda's fault because the store manager was trying to help her. But Yolanda refuses to help. But I think they're both at fault.
Joe:But what do you guys think out there? I mean, after the show notes, you could send me a message, a text message, after the show notes and tell me what you feel about this situation. I mean, how would you handle it? I mean, did Yolanda handle it real well? How did the manager, the store manager, handle it? I think he handled it real well too. I mean, he was kind of patient enough and Yolanda was kind of way, kind of rude. But what did you think in that scenario? How would you gone with that scenario? What would you do? How would you handle it? Would you get Jeff, the store manager, assistance? Would you let him help you? I mean, there's a lot of situations you could have worked it out. But Yolanda took the hard way and the manager, just you know, told her you know he would have helped her, but what would you done?
Joe:You know, let me know, send me a text message on my after the show notes and explain it to me and I'll see I could read it on my podcast. So I hope you liked it. I mean there's a lot of situations out there like that and you know it. I mean there's a lot of situations out there like that and you know. I mean sometimes I got to give kudos to the store managers and the retail department managers and all that stuff the whole retail business because they got to be patient and all that stuff and they got to hear the customer and all that stuff. And I know how it is too and I used to work in that retail too. Sometimes you have to be really patient and you have to have strong control. You know you have to have strong control, you have to have a strong mindset and all these situations like that. You got to have good communication skills to help customers on this situation, because if I was in that situation, I don't know what to do. I don't think that's why I went to the store manager and you know, let them take it from there, because things like that. You know you gotta talk to your store manager what the situation is. Well, I just hope you guys like it. I mean, you know, just let me know what the what you could have done and, like I said, send me that text message and explain it to me. Wow guys, you know what? Poor Yolanda, you know she didn't get her vacuum cleaner. You know, poor Yolanda, you know she didn't get her vacuum cleaner, you know. So now she had to wait for two weeks, you know. So things like that, I mean I'd rather order it online or something like that, like in Amazon and things like that.
Joe:But you know, people are different. There's some people that don't like to go in the self-checkout, you know they like to go to the real casualty store with a human stuff like that, with a real person. There's people out there they do that. Yeah, just to keep you guys in mind about that, because there's, you know, a lot of ways, you know, but, like they say, like robots are taking over. So you know, something you got to think about. So I'll be doing the next one pretty soon. So it's going to probably take me a while to think of a new little bit.
Joe:So, yeah, I mean, those things kind of situations happen every day in retail, you know. So I mean I give the kudos to all the retail people that work in retail because they they gotta be real patient, especially these days. You know a lot of um, a lot of customers out there they're really picky and they're really stubborn out there. So, yeah, so you know there's a lot of people that go way, way like out of their way to go to pick up the items and um, and they find out that you know it's not there. You know what I would have done in that situation? I would have called the store first if they had the items you know, I would have done that, you know, just to save me the trip, you know. I mean, just imagine how many. I mean the gas is going up. Just imagine the gas that Yolanda spent just to go over there just to find those items, just to get those items you know, and then just to go over there to just to find those items, just to get those items you know, and then just to leave empty handed. I mean I worked 45 minutes with my job, just that's only 45 minutes, okay, two hours to that store and she left empty handed. Just imagine, god, two hours, man, that's really far man. She's always like, you know, I would like forget it. I would like just order it online. You know, you never know. I mean, they're probably on Amazon, you know, those are probably where the items are at, you know. But oh, wow, so enough with a little bit there. So yeah, pretty soon I'll be coming with a new one. So that's coming soon.
Joe:Well, after I'm done with the show, I'm gonna have to start cooking because, um, you know, I'm kind of hungry. I haven't ate since the morning. Time goes by fast. Man, I was. I just woke up at seven o'clock in the morning and it's already two o'clock, believe it or not. Believe it or not, man, time's going fast. Um, man, time's going fast. Yeah, so I'm going to be cooking chicken with broccoli. I'm going to cook me some steamed rice and some beans and I hope it turns out good.
Joe:I started cooking since before my mother passed away. She told me some tips how to cook. The only thing I didn't got to learn to cook is my mom's recipe of cooking meatloaf. That's the only thing I didn't get to learn. My mother was already sick at the time, so she couldn't walk or anything. She was already weak. So that's the only thing that I didn't get to learn and that was my final one for her to teach me how to cook her meatloaf and the only ones that know my mother's recipe on cooking meatloaf is the Gooch and my sis, and that's the only thing I didn't get to learn from my mom. She was sick already.
Joe:So, yeah, and I hope whatever I cook it turns out good and I'm just cooking it just for the week, and I'm just cooking it just for the week. Cook enough for me to eat for the week. So, yeah, I just hope it turns out real good. I'm going to add some teriyaki sauce in it and see how it turns out. And it's going to taste good because I love it with steamed rice, white rice. It's going to turn good. It's going to taste good. It's not the first time I ever cooked chicken with broccoli and all that stuff with teriyaki sauce. I usually make it whenever I have time. Now that I have the time to do it. So, yeah, I mean I'm going to sit down and enjoy my own cooking today and see how that goes on cooking today and see how that goes.
Joe:And I love cooking. Before I didn't used to like to cook because I was really tired and lazy, and it all started because my mother used to make me help her cut the vegetables and all that stuff and cut the meat. And it does work, especially if you have little ones, little kids, young children. Show them the techniques, because that's where they learn how to cook. That's how my brother the Gooch knows how to cook, remo knows how to cook and my sis knows how to cook. I barely started doing it at the last minute, so my mom was making me help her cut vegetables like carrots and like carrots and all that stuff and the meat, how to cut a certain way, how to cut the meat and all that stuff. So when my mom was showing me how to cook, I started wanting to cook now.
Joe:Now, I love to cook, but the only thing is that what to cook and when to cook, you know, because sometimes I don't have, sometimes I don't have time, sometimes I get lazy when I'm coming out from work, I get exhausted mentally too and all that stuff, physically and mentally. But this time I have time. Right after this, I'm going to start cooking my food, because I just came from the market and I'm going to start cooking and that's that. Yeah, I love to cook now before I going to start cooking, and that's that. Yeah, and I love to cook now, before I didn't used to and I think it's more cheaper to cook your own food than buying out there in the street Buying like burritos, hamburgers, going to McDonald's and all that stuff.
Joe:I mean, if you see the prices on McDonald's, you know, for a meal, for a value meal, and if you go to Burger King, carl's Jr's out there, it's really expensive now. I mean, now it's like I think it's almost close to $13 to buy a meal, a large meal and all that stuff. And when you supersize it the inflation really went up, even at the supermarkets too, like the meat, the sodas and all that stuff. It's all going up too. But I think you spend more or less in the market buying more food, making food, than buying the food in the street. You know what I'm saying.
Joe:Like, right now, one average burrito before used to be five bucks, know, and now it's like 13 for a burrito and they make them small. You know, don't, don't get me wrong, they make them small, they don't make them big. And to me, like, I think the person that you know, if you know a person, you go, if you're a regular person that it's always going to the restaurant and all that stuff. And it could be any restaurant I guess you're a regular they will. They'll pack up the meat and they'll make it huge. You know what I'm saying, but it depends.
Joe:But the average burrito now these days is like 13 bucks and you know, those 13 bucks you could just buy a bag of one pound of chicken or a pound of meat for yourself. It will last for the whole week and buy like vegetables, like bell pepper, tomato and all that stuff. And that's what I forgot to buy yesterday. I forgot to buy tomato, but yeah, so I think it's cheaper to make your own food than going on the street. So I would recommend you to do that, because going on the streets and the restaurants buying food, you're going to spend a lot of money. So I would recommend just make your own food and start learning how to cook. Because let me tell you one thing the McDonald's and all that, it's really skyrocketing. It's a lot.
Joe:If you don't want to cook or anything like that, I mean, maybe one time just go to McDonald's or Pollo pollo, loco, whatever, to buy that meal, value meal and all that stuff. It's only well, it's gonna be like 15 maybe for a whole meal, for a large drink and, um, a double cheeseburger and and you know, if you buy a regular hamburger, it's fucking small, they're not fucking big, they don't make them big like before and, um, even the big mac used to be real fucking large. Now it's like little, little small, looks like a regular hamburger. You could just gulp that by yourself, you know, and it it's really really, it's really really expensive buying in a restaurant these days. So, um, yeah, I mean I would recommend you guys make your own food, start cooking, start learning how to cook or have a wife or something out there. I mean it would recommend you guys make your own food, start cooking, start learning how to cook or have a wife or something out there.
Joe:I mean it's uh, it's really getting expensive out there and so that's why I started cooking. I mean, like, look at me, I haven't even cut my fucking hair. It's it's really expensive to cut your hair. I mean, with that money, with 30, 40 dollars now I think I get my hair. I get, I cut my hair like at least 40 dollars. There's no way on earth right now a haircut's going to be cost like five bucks, because back then it was five bucks and this is how bad the inflation is.
Joe:Now. If I go cut my hair my hair is fucking long If I go to a regular barber, any barber shop out there, it's going to be like $15 and plus tips. You know it's almost close, be like 15 and plus tips. You know it's almost close to 20, you know. And where, if you go to those high expensive barber shops, it'd be like 40 bucks and plus a tip will be like 40 45. You know it's uh ridiculous. You know, um, that's why I haven't cut my hair. My hair is really long and it's like I look like a, a hippie, you know, um, that's why I haven't cut my hair. My hair is really long and it's like I look like a, a hippie, you know. And, um, I'm sorry to say it, but you know I'm thinking just cutting my own hair with a hair cutter. But the only thing I'm worried about it I might get a trotsky like I might uneven my hair that'd be really funny.
Joe:You know, I'm gonna be all self-conscious or maybe wear a baseball cap now so I don't have to be combing it. You know, because it my hair is really getting long and I buy, um, I buy garlic shampoo. It's called black garlic shampoo. It's really good. It's good for the hair, um, it's. I get it at amazon and it's only only $29. I kind of use a little damp and it throws a lot of foam and I think that's what kind of made my hair grow. It grew a lot. It unclogs your follicles because when you put a lot of junk in your hair like pomade and all that stuff or gel, it clogs up your follicles. So this garlic shampoo it clears out your follicles, it cleans it out and you could feel like the, the coolness on it. You know the, the, the shampoo. You let it foam and you could just feel it. You know it's like it's working, it's magic, you know. But that's what I buy. I buy that garlic shampoo and you could get it in amazon. It's for 29. It's expensive, but it's it's well worth it.
Joe:Okay, just to give you the heads up on that. Yeah, so, like I say again, I mean buying food, cutting your hair and buying shampoo. I mean, you, you gotta, you gotta budget yourself, you know. And, and I was gonna buy me another microphone okay, I was gonna buy me another microphone, but, like the way the situation is, I'm in a tight budget right now. The everything has gone up, skyrocketed and and it's just like I'd rather just cook my own food.
Joe:I, you know, I might have to cut my own hair, maybe trim it a little bit from the back, you know, because it kind of bothers me, especially when it's hot, you know, you sweat more. And it's like when you see a dog, when you have every, when you see a dog, it's all furry, because we have a dog and, um, we have a dog, it's a, it's a bearing husky, it's a, it's all furry man, and it's a hot day. I always ask my myself the question you know, isn't that dog hot? You know, with all that fur, I mean, they say they don't get hot because they're, you know, it's a siberian husky. They could withstand cold and heat and all things like that. But, um, I'm pretty sure, yeah, the siberian husky could, could withstand heat. But other than that, you know, I'd rather save my money and, you know, and other things like that, you know. So I'm going to cook today my own food Instead of going on buying pizza A $45.
Joe:And it's only a medium pizza or a large pizza which is cost like $45 now these days. You know it's really going up. I just can't believe it. Back then, the which is cost like 45 bucks. Now these days, you know it's really going up. I just can't believe it. Back then the pizza used to cost like $15,. You know, now it's like 45 bucks for a medium or a large.
Joe:And you know what tastes better Little Caesar's pizza for $5. Well, you only spend like what? $6 with tax. You know, $6 pizza. I'm pretty sure $6 now because back then it used to be $5. You know I haven't gotten a Little Caesars lately, but I'm pretty sure $6 a pizza now and that pizza tastes fucking good.
Joe:I think it tastes better than Domino's pizza. You know, that's what I can say. I think Little Caesars tastes best. I mean don't get me wrong Domino's Pizza, don't get offended. I do love Domino's Pizza. It's my favorite, even Papa John's, you know it's my favorite. But you guys are too darn expensive. You guys are too darn expensive. Little Caesars tastes good for a cheap price. You know Little Caesars. It's cheap but it tastes so fucking good. You know, just for that, maybe tomorrow I might buy me a Little Caesar pizza, even though it gives me heartburn.
Joe:You know I don't eat pizza like before. You know, when I was a kid, when I was a kid, I used to eat a lot of pizza, but I never had that problem having that indigestion problem, you know, like a heartburn and all that stuff. Every drink I drink, a soda or drink water, you know it gives me heartburn. It's the, it's the sauce, you know like I think the tomato sauce, but it's not even the tomato sauce, I think it's the pepperoni that gives me the heartburn. I don't eat pizza as much like before. I love pizza, but I can't eat it like when I was a kid, when I was like 15 years old, you know, because it gives me heartburn.
Joe:You know I love pizza. I love hamburgers, I love pizza, especially pizza too. I love pizza. I love pasta. I love shibaradi, you know, I don't know if I pronounced it right, but I love it.
Joe:You know ravioli, I love ravioli. You know I love Italian food, you know, and it just gives me heartburn. It kind of bothers me. I have to drink a lot of water before I eat. Yeah, I got to drink a lot of water before I eat. Yeah, I got to drink a lot of water before I eat pizza, and drink beer too, because, you know, it kind of drinks, it kind of gives me heartburn. But yeah, I think tomorrow I'm going to go to Little Caesars and buy me a pizza, and the other time I bought the Digorio pizza, I only spent, like, I think, six dollars for the pizza. That's what tax, you know, it's real cheap.
Joe:You know, you could just heat it up in your house and that's it. You know, instead of going to Domino's pizza and Pizza Hut, fucking, instead of buying a 45 pizza and it's only a large or maybe a medium, you know, and the medium looked like a large. I don't know what's the difference, you know. It's just they cut them in little slices. It's about I don't know my fractions, but I'm assuming it's like that. You know, the mediums, like they have thick slices and you buy a large pizza. It's like little slices. I don't know if you noticed it, you know, but pizza is good. I love pizza, don't get me wrong. Noticed it, you know. But pizza is good. I love pizza, don't get me wrong.
Joe:But it gives me heartburn, but I only have to eat pizza, like once, maybe once in a while, maybe every two weeks, you know, not every day. Before, when I was a kid, I used to eat pizza every day, but now I can't. You know it's. You know it's the way it is. I guess it's my old age or something like that. You know it's the way it is. I guess it's my old age or something like that. You know it's the way it is, you know. But yeah, I mean it's better to buy a cheap pizza. I'd rather buy Little Caesars. Now, you know, I'd rather buy Little Caesars. It's real cheap and it's a good pizza. and, it's real cheap and it's a good pizza. I mean, it's not better than Domino's, it's not better than Papa John's, but it's good as long as you have something in your stomach. But I stopped buying things in the streets now, you know it's only like I don't want to cook. You know I just okay, I don't feel like cooking. I'm just going to go buy me something to eat, a little meal. You know, damn, like $14 a meal, a large meal, that's ridiculous. That's why I'd rather just cook my own food. You're going to spend a lot, but hey, it's going to last you the whole week. You know you could take that rest of that food to take to work and eat it at lunch, at lunchtime, you know.
