Joe:

What's up, what's up, what's up? Everybody, what's up, what's up. This is Thee Talkers Podcast, Unscripted. My name is Joe. How's everybody doing out there? What's up?

Joe:

Los Angeles, california, you know what? I can't believe it. It's 91 degrees. 91 degrees out there, man Jeez. But there's guys out there. Be careful, Drink a lot of water, stay hydrated.

Joe:

It's about to cool down pretty soon. Fall's on its way. On September 21st, first day of fall. Can't wait. But this is when it's chilling down. It's gonna cool down. I can't wait for next month. Let's just say it that way Fuck the heat, fuck summer. I don't like summer. Been saying it Now. Fall's coming in next month. Let's enjoy the weather, man. Let's just enjoy the cold weather, the cool weather. That's what I'm waiting for right now.

Joe:

Actually, is anyone ready for Christmas out there? Is everybody getting ready, preparing for spending a lot of money for Christmas? I mean, I'm sure not. That's what I'm worrying about right now. Right now, that's what it's stressing me out, because once the holidays are coming in, the Christmas season is coming. That's what I'm worrying about right now. Right now, that's what's stressing me out, because, you know, once the holidays are coming in, the Christmas season is coming, there's a lot of spending to do. You know what I'm saying. But is anybody prepared out there? I mean, I'm sure not. You know it's. I mean it's going to be a lot of spending and plus, you got to do your shopping earlier. Because I'm going to do my fucking shopping earlier, and you know what I'm thinking just buying gift cards because I don't know what the heck my family need and want. And every time I buy them something it's always the wrong size, it's always the wrong shirt or they don't like the shirt or they don't like the wrong chonies. You know what I'm saying wrong socks, smelly socks. You know what I'm saying. But you know, I don't know. I don't know what they want anymore. So I'm just going to have to buy them gift cards.

Joe:

I mean, tell me, do you guys agree with that or not? I mean it's really difficult now. I mean I think everyone is picky what they get for Christmas. Now. I mean I think everyone is picky what they get for christmas. Um, sometimes they get like shampoo or soap or something like that, or artificial cologne or perfume or things like that. You know it happens. Or fake docs. You know you get some. Instead of getting docs you get walks or something like that, but but I don't know, I don't think I'm ready for it, but I don't know. What do you guys think? You think I'm right, you think I'm telling the truth, or you think I'm correct, or what is it?

Joe:

I mean, I don't know, it's something that enters my mind and I'm still debating what kind of Christmas tree I'm going to get. Should I get a real Christmas tree or should I get an artificial Christmas tree? I mean, I'm still debating on that. But, like I said, I'm like a tradition guy. I like to have a real Christmas tree. I like to smell the pine, I like to sweep the bristles from the pine tree, something like that. I don't know if you call them bristles, I don't know, but that's what I like to do. I like to decorate my home, my living room, with Christmas decorations and I don't know, I just love the Christmas tree, the smell of the Christmas tree, a real pine tree, and you don't get that with an artificial Christmas tree. You know what I'm saying. So I'm debating on that.

Joe:

So are you guys ready for it? I mean, I think I am, but this is where I pull in a lot of hours at work, so I don't know, man, every time I think about the holidays, like, oh my gosh, it just makes me lazier now, like, uh, should I make some hours, should I stay in the work? Or I know it's gonna be christmas season, but that's why you gotta save money before anything else. You know, you just save your money and start collecting and save and save and then just buy your christmas tree, I mean, buy your gifts for your loved ones and all that stuff, family and friends, you know. But I don't know, man. I mean I would recommend doing your Christmas shopping at October. You know, because I do my Christmas shopping around. Let's see, like the middle of October I do my Christmas. Like last two years I did my Christmas shopping around the end of November and the middle of october I do my christmas. Um, like last two years I did my christmas shopping around the end of november and the beginning of december.

Joe:

It was awful, it was a bad experience and you know it was. The lines were too big. You know, when you go to the cash register, you know there's not enough employees right there. I mean, I could understand the retail because you know it's you gotta have lunch and break and all that stuff. I could understand the situation of retail because I used to be there, I used to work in retail. I understand the breaks and lunch. You know people have their lunch. There's going to be like less cash version that season, so be careful on that. I mean, if people this is one thing. Let me tell you, if people want to go christmas shopping at the lake and you guys are getting pissed off, do it early, because I had an experience that last year, um, I already had done my christmas shopping.

Joe:

Like I said, I had my, I had done my christ Christmas shopping on October and this person was and I just missed one gift that year, last year, and I forgot one gift to buy for one of my family members. And I go, oh my gosh, I couldn't believe I forgot a Christmas gift. I went back to the mall, I went to JCPenney's and there was this person getting pissed off because there was short cash registers, you know, like there were too many. So there was one employee, okay. So I got really agitated because the lady was the person was getting mad. The person was getting mad because she was waiting on a line. You know impatient, you know I go if you're going to be impatient. You knew damn well.

Joe:

You're in December, right, you're in the last minute Christmas shopping, and you're right here. This is your fault because you went. You came last minute Christmas shopping, and you're right here. This is your fault because you came late to Christmas shopping. You could have done this in October and get whatever you want, you know. And if you guys are going in Christmas shopping in the late on December, ready in the last minute, if you guys are going in the last minute to Christmas shopping, you guys better not be getting mad because that's your fault, that's your bad, because you guys are going the last minute to Christmas shopping. You guys better not be getting mad because that's your fault, that's your bad because you guys are going late Christmas shopping. Don't be getting upset because there's short cash registers, there's only one just because you went late Christmas shopping at the last minute.

Joe:

Do your Christmas shopping early, okay, do your Christmas shopping early, so that way. Do your Christmas shopping early, so that way you could prevent all that mess. Because I was waiting in the In the line forever too. But I didn't have to sweat it because I didn't get there late. I was only going there for one Christmas gift that I had to buy. But if that would have been me the late Christmas shopping you know I would have been like that too. If that would have been me the late Christmas shopping you know I would have been like that too. I would have been a mess, I would have been getting mad, I would have been getting upset because there was only one cash register to the whole department store.

Joe:

I'm letting you guys know now do your Christmas shopping at October, not November, not december. The best time to go christmas shopping is on october, because once you see the stores putting christmas trees and decorations at the stores, they're already giving christmas decorations already. And um, in the retails, that's where you start going christmas shopping. That's just telling you a hint. Now is the time to Christmas shopping. Don't wait at the last minute, like December or November at the end. That happened to me two years ago. Now I do my Christmas shopping in October. No lie, no capping, but that's what I do now. I'm starting to do my Christmas shopping in October because I see a lot of people. That's what I do Now.

Joe:

I'm starting to do my Christmas shopping in October Because I see a lot of people when I go Christmas shopping, you know, going to buy some food and all that stuff. You can see a lot of people that are shopping. They're all upset, they're all impatient. They're getting overwhelmed Because big lines are out there. They're getting all stressed out because it's packed. Well, go fucking early to Christmas shopping. Go early to the stores, go early around October and start doing your Christmas shopping. Do not wait at the last minute. I guarantee you you're just only hurting yourself. That's your fault, that's your bad. Why are you getting mad? Because you know you're impatient because there's a big long line and it's all crowded. Because you're all fucking frustrated. That's your fault, that's your bad. Then then, um, order an online on amazon. Order an online early so you could get it early. You don't have to be out there shopping back in.

Joe:

Uh, back in the day it used to be fun enjoying the crowds for Christmas. Everybody's doing their Christmas shopping, everybody's having fun. Back in the day, in the 80s and 90s, everybody was enjoying having Christmas music in the stores. You could hear Christmas music at the department stores at the time. Back then everybody was enjoying shopping at the malls.

Joe:

Now everybody's all grumpy and tense and everybody's all upset, uptight and everything. Everybody's all impatient. Everybody wants to get out of there quick. You guys should just enjoy the moment of Christmas. Stop getting uptight, start getting upset. Start getting upset with people not saying excuse me if they don't, if they don't say excuse me, just forget about it, just leave it alone, just leave it at is.

Joe:

You know, there's a lot of people that just because they bump you, you get mad because you're you know they bumped you, they didn't say excuse me. I mean, yeah, I know they're supposed to say excuse me, but just leave it alone, just drop it. Okay, that person didn't say excuse me. I mean, yeah, I know they're supposed to say excuse me, but just leave it alone, just drop it. That person didn't mean. Well, that person didn't see you there, probably it was an accident, you know. I mean people are getting so uptight and upset During the holidays when they're crowded On the department stores.

Joe:

They're all crowded and they're getting all upset. Oh, they want to be the first one there. Well, you should have got there early. You should have been shopping since October, you know, you know, you know, damn well, you know it's going to get a lot, it's going to be a lot of crowd in this and in every, every, every. I mean.

Joe:

Don't blame anybody. Don't blame the retail stores because of their employees. Blame yourself. You should have gone there earlier and shopped. You know? Bad enough, the employees in the department stores. They got to put up with people dropping, breaking things, throwing up in the department stores, someone pissing in the floor, someone stealing, and they got to deal with all that bullshit. And you're making it more, even worse, like if you guys don't even work. They go through a lot in the department stores. The employees, the associates, whatever you want, the employees, whatever you want to call them, they go through a lot. Believe me, because I used to be there, I used to work in that department stores. When it's Black Friday, be the first ones will get there early, so that way you know you won't miss the, the opportunity, what you have to buy you know, when then?

Joe:

when you're late, you blame the employees because you're saying that they didn't bring the items earlier, um, on time, just because your dumb ass went late, just because you guys went shopping late, you know? And then when it's Black Friday, when it's Black Friday, you guys go there late. And you guys go there mad, Like if it's the employee's fault or the department store's fault. It's not their fault, it's your fault for going there late. And then when you go late Christmas shopping too, you guys are all mad because there's not enough cash registers employees. Well, damn it. They're in their lunch, Some are in their lunch, Some are cleaning up the mess that you guys are creating. You're making. You open the packages you open you, you destroy the whole department store with the clothing store. You know the clothing department. You all make a mess. You guys don't fold it back. You got. We have to have the employees like five employees to clean it up for you, so it could look nice. You know there's employees that have to clean the up for you so it could look nice. You know there's employees that have to clean the aisles because one idiot drops a plate or drops a glass and breaks something. One of them like at least two employees. It takes two employees or more to clean a department store, believe it or not. That's why you don't see some of them in the cash registers, because they're cleaning all the mess that you guys created out there opening packages, boxes. That's why they're sealing everything up with glass. I don't know if you noticed, when you go to Walmart or other department stores, they have everything all closed up with the glass and everything. Now you have to push a button and ring them so the associates could help you. You know, because you guys open the packages.

Joe:

When I used to work there in the department in retail, they didn't have none of that. They didn't have none of that. I wish they had that when I was there. I wish they would have had that Because back in the day, when I used to work in the department store in retail, everything was all open. Everything was all a mess. We had to put that in. We had to take that to the shrink department to make a claim. We claims it and then we got to write it. What was the damage? And all that stuff. Because you guys couldn't stop opening packages and it was a big mess, especially, especially when the curtains. You know when they open curtains it's all a mess, and especially the sheets. You know when you open you buy the bed sheets, they're all open. You have to fix it. It looks ugly. Now they they tie that up. They have everything on under control. Now Everything's all glassed up because everybody's stealing, you know.

Joe:

But like I said again, that's why they put all that now. They fixed everything so that way now they could have enough cash registers. Back then there was no enough cash registers because a lot of things was just a mess. They had to clean a lot of shit in the department store. I mean, you guys got to give them a break. They're trying to help you, but you guys go there with attitudes Just because you guys got there late and you got to take it out of them. You know what I'm saying.

Joe:

I know how it feels to be in a department store, in the retail, because I used to work there and it has to do with the customers. You know what? As a matter of fact, I used to love talking to customers. You know, I used to love talking to customers and it wasn't easy at the first time, when I first started there. It wasn't easy. I used to hide. I used to love communicating with them and it was really, really, I really liked it. That's what I'm trying to say. I really, really liked communicating with the customers. But when it's a holiday season coming Christmas season is really on the way. It's around the corner, you know, and you guys out there, all your customers are out there, they're shopping. You guys got to give them a break because they got to put up with a lot of idiots that are making mess at the department store and you got soft checkout you know, it makes it easier to go to self-checkout, to get out of there and fucking what in less than five minutes.

Joe:

You know, all it takes is five minutes, you know. And, like I said again, guys, when you guys are going shopping and you have one fucking item right there on the line and I have like a bunch of items and you're behind me, I'm not gonna let you go to the in front of me just because you got like three items. There's a self-checkout. You could scan, scan and go real easy. If you don't want to do it, they'll show you, they'll teach you how to how to scan your own items and just walk out. It takes. It will take you like a minute if you have one item. Well, less than a minute, like yesterday.

Joe:

I was over there. I was shopping because you know, shopping for food. But you cannot use alcohol in Scan and Go. That's the only dumb fall of it.

Joe:

But there was a person behind me. He only had three items in his hands. I wanted to tell him you know what? Why don't you go to Scan and Go? You know why don't you go to Scan and Go? And you'll be there in less than a minute, but he wants to wait in line. He wants to wait forever. He wants to wait forever. Well, let him be, let him wait forever.

Joe:

He looked, he looked impatient. He was looking at me like can you let me go through? I go? Uh-uh, you're scanning, go. And I mean I don't want to be a dick, you know, I don't want that's what they're made for. But for them, for people like that, to go to scan and go and get the hell out of there. It prevents more line, longer lines. But he wanted to stay in Scan and Go and get the hell out of there. It prevents longer lines, but he wanted to stay in line and wait forever when other people have a lot of items.

Joe:

Because I stay in line, because I have alcohol, I can't go to Scan and Go because it's not made for alcohol. But if I have alcohol I go to a regular cash register, but if I don't have alcohol, I go to Scan and Go. I will just get out of there in less than five minutes, especially when Christmas is coming. I would recommend you guys to do that If you guys want to get out of the department store fast, you know, if you guys want to get out of the department store fast. You know it's really easy to learn Scan and Go. But I just wanted to point that out and I'm going to get back to the Christmas thing and, like I said, I mean there's a lot of people that go Christmas shopping at the latest like December. Oh, cause I was working, I had to work all day. I had no time to go Christmas shopping in October or November. I had to do it in December. Bullshit, you have enough time. Buy him gift cards or something, cause that's what I'm going to do you?

Speaker 2:

know, but, that's I guess that's on you.

Joe:

I'm just telling you guys out there you know all you Christmas shoppers out there that you guys got to do your shopping earlier. If you're not going to handle the pressure on a lot of crowds, a lot of crowds in the department stores if you know them well they're going to be jam-packed on the malls. There's going to be a lot. There's not going to be no parking at the malls. I mean, get prepared for it. Schedule yourself when you're going to do it, when you're going to go, what time you're going to go, because I see a lot of it. I see a lot of it happen. I see a lot of it. I see a lot of it happen. I see a lot of it happen.

Joe:

They go there late and they're looking, they're going around in the malls like maybe for looking for parking, for looking for parking to like two hours or more, which you could have done that two months before and you guys are getting upset. Fuck, there's no fucking parking. There's no fucking parking, there's no fucking parking. Well, you should have gone there earlier and shopped, should have woke up at 7 o'clock in the morning and go Christmas shopping Early in the morning, all in sick or something for work. They give you PTOs.

Joe:

You know, Don't be getting mad, because You're the ones that are going there, going there too late, to the department store to go shop or to the malls, looking for parking for two hours, and then when someone beats you in the parking oh, that was my parking first.

Joe:

That was all no, that's my parking and it's not yours, it's mine. I saw it first. You guys are fighting for fucking parking. Then someone gets hurt. Then someone gets hurt because you know they got the parking first oh that. And someone gets hurt because they got the parking first oh, that was my parking. You guys are fighting for a parking spot. It's not worth risking your life or losing your freedom over a parking spot.

Joe:

You guys are so out of control. There's a lot of people out there that have anger, problems, have some problems, problems. I have some problems, issues, but, like I said again, there's going to be a lot of people on your holiday season coming just around the corner and some of you out there are going to go late. And you guys got to remain calm, be patient and don't take it out on the retail employees because let me tell you one thing they got to do their shopping too. You know they have to do their shopping too and they have to work. Just because they got to deal with your asses that are so uptight and grumpy, impatient, because there's no cash registers there. They got to deal with your shit. I mean you got. I mean you should respect them because they're there. They're there for to help you, to assist you, and you guys are giving them a lot of heat, you know, but it's not their fault, it's your fault. We're going late and not thinking ahead.

Joe:

You know, I mean there's no way you could do it. Just think ahead, you know. I mean there's still any way you could do it. Just think ahead. Shop early, because I'm going to shop in October. I'm going to buy my Christmas tree, I think in the middle of November. That's when they're going to sell the Christmas trees, but I'm going to do my Christmas shopping on October. But I will do that if I were you guys out there, all you listeners.

Joe:

I mean there's a lot of tension, like when, when it's? I mean back in the day, everybody was all happy and jolly, shopping and waiting patiently, you know. But now it's like everybody's all upset, everybody's all excited, like they get all tensed up and all they get impatient Because there's not enough cash registers. But expect that Because it's going to happen. You got to remain cool and calm. I mean there's no way to put it. It's not worth losing your freedom because you're mad and upset just because you woke up in a bad mood, just because you woke up late, and you go oh shit, I forgot to do my Christmas shopping. Oh my gosh, I got to go right now.

Speaker 2:

You got to think ahead you got to think ahead, man.

Joe:

I mean there's ways to do it. Everybody has time, make time for it. I do. I don't even have time either, but I make time, at least like five minutes of time, to do it. I mean I don't know, are you guys ready out there For Christmas shopping? Don't go late, don't go late. I just letting you know, because it's going to be really packed this year.

Joe:

I mean it's really really bad when people get mad, when they're impatient because they want to just buy their stuff and just get out of there. I understand that, I get it, but all you got to do is just relax, wake up in the morning, get there early and do your Christmas shopping, because it's going to be really jam-packed. Let me tell you one thing. Let me tell you one thing and tell you one thing, and everybody's gonna lose their minds, especially on Black Fridays. Black Fridays is on its way. Do your shopping there too. Stop waiting. Stop waiting for the last minute, like in the like the middle of December, you guys go shopping. It's ridiculous, but I don't know. I mean it's like when every person gets mad, they're trying to take it on the employees, like if it was their fault that they didn't put your alarm on you know, and what's your excuse?

Joe:

I mean, what's your excuse for going late to Christmas shopping? There's no excuse. Let me tell you one thing Christmas shopping is fun, especially when everybody's all enjoying themselves buying their Christmas gifts for their loved ones. I mean, back then, when I used to see it, everybody was just. You know If only you can see it, the younger generation, if you guys will only see it how happy everybody was in the department store, no problem. Now it's like everybody don't care, everybody's just so impatient. I mean everybody's like. You don't see it, no more. You don't see that, no more. I don't know if I'm lying or something, I don't know if it's me, but I don't see it like that, no more. It's crazy how times change. Where's the love at? It's just mostly like oh, I'm going to grab my stuff and just leave. No one's not enjoying it. I don't know if it's just me. I don't know if it's just me but, I don't see anybody enjoying Christmas.

Joe:

It's like everybody has to be forced to buy something for the family these days. It's like everybody's forcing themselves to buy gifts. Oh, I got to buy some Christmas gifts. Oh my God, I got to buy some Christmas gifts. You know, here we go again. I got to buy this person this. I got to buy this person that. Oh my gosh, are you ready for the Christmas Events already? Are you ready for the christmas events already? Are you ready for christmas season?

Joe:

yeah oh, my god, I gotta buy the christmas for this person. Oh, I don't know what that person wants. It's like we're forced to. It's like you're forced to buy something, um, for christmas. It's like you're forced to buy something for Christmas. You don't have to. Usually I'm a giver, not a receiver. I really don't like to receive gifts on my part. I don't care if no one didn't buy me a gift. I told my family just buy me some chonies or socks At least I'll be happy with that or a baseball cap or something A piece of gun would do, you know.

Joe:

But, I don't know. Just it's like everybody's just. I got to go buy some Christmas gifts. No one's not doing it for the love, and when you go shopping, everybody's all like like uptight, like you're not in the mood or something. I don't know if you noticed it, I don't know if it's just me. I witnessed that, like last year, like everybody's, like oh, when I, when I went to buy that last gift, what I the one I missed everybody was just like with the straight face, like had to go. They're forced to buy a Christmas gift.

Joe:

You know Something? I don't know, maybe it's just me, maybe I'm the one, I don't know. You tell me, but but like everybody's like grumpy, like uptight, I don't know. I mean I don't know. It's just like enjoy it, man. Because I mean I don't see no one enjoying buying Christmas gifts anymore. I'm just being, I don't know. Well, I see it. I don't even hear Christmas music in the department stores anymore. I mean everybody will be singing Christmas carols on the front of the houses back there now. Now no one does it, no more. Now everybody looks at it, looks at it like it's cheesy, you know, but that's just me, I guess. I don't know, but I guess times change. Everything's different.

Joe:

You know, I mean, why is it wrong to hear Christmas songs too? You know, I listen to Christmas music all the time. I think real men hear Christmas music. You know, real men hear Christmas music. I like Christmas music Every time when it hits November. Once it hits November, I look for Christmas music. It brings joy out of me. I don't know, for some reason, oh, why you listen to Christmas music. Because it's Christmas season. Oh, it's too early to put Christmas music. I don't know why everybody's hearing Christmas music in November. I don't know why everybody's hearing Christmas music in November. Well, because everybody wants to, you know, have the spirit of Christmas so they could buy some Christmas gifts, everybody could have the mentality to enjoy the love of peace. That's the whole meaning of Christmas Peace and love. But it's to earn early to play Christmas music. We're only in November and it's people the stores are already bringing up Christmas already on October because, you know, it's not even Christmas yet, it's in December. Yeah, we want to start early to celebrate it, you know, to enjoy the season.

Speaker 2:

You feel me.

Joe:

And when I see once I see Christmas, you know it brings something out of me like I can't wait for Christmas. I want to see everyone happy. I want to see everybody enjoy the spirit of Christmas, the love, and it sucks because we got to spread this love once a year.

Joe:

You know, what can it be? Every, every day, spreading the love. You know, that's the, that's the crazy part. You should be doing this for to everyone, every, every day, not every year, once a year, not every once a year. And and you know what? Um, and I think it kind of changed too, because when it was December, it was like everybody's just not enjoying themselves, shopping or enjoying Christmas.

Joe:

You know, back then you said hey, merry Christmas, everyone, hey, merry Christmas. And I was like it's bad to say Christmas, it's bad to say Merry Christmas. Oh, now you got to say Happy Holidays because some don't believe in the Christmas spirit. Oh, you don't have to tell me Christmas. You don't have to tell me Merry Christmas, say Happy Holiday. I mean, it's just a word, it's just Merry Christmas. What's wrong with that? Oh, I prefer happy holidays. Why happy holidays? What's so happy about the holidays? Then You're going to get drunk and then after that go back to work. I'd rather hear Merry Christmas, because it brings the joy out of it. Happy holidays is like oh, it's just like your day's off. Am I making any sense here?

Speaker 2:

I don't know.

Joe:

I don't know if I am, but I don't care. I don't care if I'm not making any sense. I think you know what I'm talking about.

Joe:

You know, but I mean, I think I'm ready for Christmas season. I'm going to start doing my shopping in October, you know, trying to beat the crowd. I mean, do you feel me on that? I mean, why would you want to go Christmas shopping in December, in the beginning of December? Why, at the moment when it's already going to be Christmas like the middle of the beginning, in the beginning of December? Why, at the moment when it's already going to be Christmas, like the middle of the beginning and the middle of December? Why? Why put yourself in a predicament? I don't understand that, you know.

Speaker 2:

I just don't, I just don't understand that.

Joe:

What I don't know why they do that and is everybody done? I don't know you tell me, but it's just, it's common sense. Do your Christmas shopping early, early, early early. Don't be after when there's a lot of Crowd in there and you're getting pissed off, you're crying about it. That's how they react when it's everyone is all packed up.

Speaker 2:

Why is there only one register? Why is there only one register? Right now it's Christmas time. There shouldn't be one person in a register, why? I want to go talk to the manager. I want to go where's manager, where's your manager?

Joe:

Oh, he's over there assisting another employee right now.

Speaker 2:

Why I want to talk to him, because you only have one register. We're over here in the line and it's growing. It's growing big. You should do something about it. You should have more registers.

Joe:

Well, I'm sorry about the managers over there store managers over there. He's assisting the employee and he's talking to another customer. He's really busy right now, ma'am.

Speaker 2:

No man, you guys got to get out of control here. Everything's all fucking packed. The line's getting bigger and bigger. You guys are not doing anything about it.

Joe:

I'm sorry, ma'am, but you want to talk to the manager?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, please.

Joe:

And I'm right there and you know listening, you know I'm already, you know, done you know I'm already done my Christmas shopping. Some of the persons in the line are impatient because, the lady's damn right, there's only one cash register working to assist everybody. You know it's always one apple misses out for everyone and just because this apple is really upset and then everybody gets upset.

Speaker 2:

See, I'm going to call the department gets upset. See, I'm going to call the department, I'm going to call your, your, your headquarters, because this is not right. We all got to leave, we all got to go home to our families, and you know.

Joe:

Well, ma'am, you should have been here earlier. You know you could have like got your shopping early. You know we're here open early at 7 o'clock. You, we were here open early at 7 o'clock. If you want to come here early at 7 o'clock we'll be here. But he came here at a bad time when it's packed. He should have been here early.

Speaker 2:

No, but you don't tell me what to do. Sir, I got to talk to your manager. Let me talk to your manager.

Joe:

Okay, ma'am, let him talk to the employee out there and we'll see from there. We'll take you over there. What's your name, ma'am?

Speaker 2:

My name is Yolanda.

Joe:

Okay, yolanda, I will. I'm going to go over there and talk to Smith and he'll assist you right away. He will assist you right away. Okay, yolanda, talk to Smith and he'll assist you right away. He will assist you right away. Okay, yolanda.

Speaker 2:

Okay, Thank you very very much.

Joe:

I mean, this is what you're going to go through. Get prepared for it. I'm speaking to the people that have already done their Christmas shopping because you know I was like that too. I was there and I saw that. You know, give these retail people a break. You know I was like that too. I was there and I saw that. You know I mean give these retail people a break okay and the people are Christmas shopping, are going there late.

Joe:

Do not go late, go early. Go in October. That's the best suggestion I could give you. You know you could go to October or you could go to September. Do your Christmas shopping Right now. Those stores are right now like clear right now. Okay, all the department stores, the malls, right now they're clear. When I got out of work, around like what? Thursday, no, friday, I got out of work Friday. I got out early, I went straight of work Friday. I got out early, I went straight to the mall. It was all clear. But once it hits December, you get out early at work, like around 11.

Joe:

I think they're going to open earlier. I think around 9 o'clock. I think the mall's going to be open in Christmas season, especially Christmas season. They're going to open early, I guarantee you that. And they're going to open early. I guarantee you that. Not 10 o'clock, 9 o'clock, maybe 9.30 or 9 o'clock, something around there. They're going to open early but it's going to be jam-packed. It's going to be jam-packed around 9 o'clock. Everybody's going to be waiting, parked right there already. Everybody's going to be in the line, especially in Best Buy and all them electronics department stores and all that stuff. They're all going to be jam-packed early in the morning on.

Joe:

Christmas, I mean during December. Once it's December, expect the big line early in the morning. Everybody's going to be waiting. And if you guys are into that Black Friday business thing, I'll jump on that too. Start doing your Christmas shopping right there and now. Then and now, because once it hits December, that shit's going to get packed. I mean packed.

Joe:

I don't want to hear no shenanigans out there that someone shot somebody because a person cut in line. Anything stupid, you know Anything stupid. They're going to get pissed off at you know. Oh, hey, man, you cut in my line, you cut in front of me, what the hell? And then they get all heat up and then they go wait for them outside and then they're shooting each other.

Joe:

Or just because the person cut in line, why you make it so difficult to shop early, why you put yourselves in your predicament. I mean, if you go there late Christmas shopping, you know you're going to deal with this bullshit. That's why I do my shit early, because I don't want to deal with all the crowds Now that everybody's all like temper tantrums and everybody doing their uptight in scenery, their fits, everybody doing their fits. Because you know everybody cut it. Someone cut in, someone bumped into you, someone bumped into you and all that stuff and he didn't like it. He didn't like it, and then you get in the fight. You guys get in the fight and all that stuff, I mean. I mean it's like Like I don't know, just go there early. Like I said again, it's ridiculous, really ridiculous. Just like I said again, you're going to get people that are going to do Christmas shopping. I'm already ready, I'm going to do mine on October, but if you guys go there late, that's on you, that's on you. You guys going late. You're going late for Christmas shopping.

Joe:

Don't be getting mad at the retail because they only have one cash register. Remember, employees are cleaning up the mess that you guys created and it and it and it takes them off the cash registers because they need more people to to clean the department store. Because I want to go into a department store that's really clean and that's what they're doing. They want to make the place clean for you customers out there, to make it look nice, so that way you can have a nice department store. You don't want to walk into a dirty ass fucking department store. All the closets everywhere all messed, everything is all open and no one doesn't care about it. Well, that's where the cash registers are at.

Joe:

Well, that's where the cadres are at, cleaning the fucking mess that you guys created, making, destroying the shirts, the clothing and all that stuff, throwing the pants on the floor. The shirts are everywhere. They gotta fold them. They have to fold them. They gotta fold the clothes that you guys messed up, you guys created, and all the throwbacks, all the shit that you guys messed up, you guys created, and all the throwbacks, all the shit that you guys got in the cart that you guys want to buy, and all that stuff you put in the cart and then you leave it in the fucking aisles. You leave it in the other aisle, you leave it in the toy department.

Joe:

So they got to sort all those items. That's another thing too. They got to sort all those items and put them back where they and stock them back where they belong, because you guys so finicky and so picky, you guys not going to buy, you guys not going to buy what you're going to buy. You guys, oh, I'm going to buy this, oh, I'm going to leave it right here. Forget it, I'm not going to buy it, I'm going to leave it right here on the counter, so, counter. So you got to remember that all the stuff that you guys take from the and the stocking and and, uh, where it's at, you guys get all the items and then you guys don't buy it, you just leave it whatever it is. You make a mess. Well, those cash registers they need, they need to help help the other employees who get all those throwbacks. All you guys are that you guys leave in the aisles they got to put them back where they where they're at and their shelves.

Joe:

You got they got to put them back to the shelves because you guys didn't want to buy it or you just freeze off, forget, I'm not gonna buy, it's gonna leave right here. And that's not only one item, that's like a lot, the whole, throughout the whole store, throughout the whole store. They got to pick every item that's on the floor and they leave it in the carts and they got to put them back. They call them throwbacks. So they got to get all that stuff and, believe me, I used to do that. I used to get all the throwbacks, get all those, all those, sort them out where it goes at and take it to the department and stock them back. We had to stock those back because you guys make a mess. That's where your cash registers are at. They're helping that's why there's only two cash registers and scanning goals because they're helping other associates or employees cleaning up the mess, sorting everything out and stock them back to where it goes, stock them in the shelves where they go at. That's why some of the customers out there, some of the customers out there, they don't know about all that. Some do, some don't. I do because I used to work there. I used to work in a department store, in retail. I used to sort all the stuff that you guys rip apart. You guys leave around the store. You leave it right there, like if you buy a frozen item, like a piece of ham, a pack of two pounds of ham, and you leave it in the toy department and it turns bad. I go, oh, you cannot turn this back in, you cannot put it back in the refrigerator because it's already been sitting there for what? Two hours already, because it was sitting in the toy department. What kind of shit is that? And then you guys are crying Because there's no cash registers, because, because there's no cash registers to assist you, because you want to leave home early, because I want to get out of here already. And they're helping all the Well. The cash registers Are taking their luncheses and after their lunches they go help out, clear those baskets, all the throwbacks that they left behind, that the customers just leave around the store, that the ones that they're not going to buy, they change their mind. They're not going to buy it because you know they didn't want it. After all, I was going to leave it right here. That's what the cash registers are doing they're helping others teamwork. You know they didn't want it. After all, I was going to leave it right here. That's what the cash registers are doing they're helping others Teamwork, they're teamworking. But don't be upset because don't be upset that it's crowded Because you went shopping late. There are going to be less cash registers. There are going to be less cash registers on Christmas. I guarantee you that.

Joe:

You got to prepare for that because they're cleaning up the stores. They got to use these employees to clean up the stores. You guys got to be patient, patient. If you're not impatient, then well, you guys are impatient. You guys are impatient. You gotta be patient. You gotta understand the store business, the retail business. I mean they're working, they're doing the best. They. They're doing the best they can. You know, well, I think this is it. I mean they're working, they're doing the best they can. You know, well, I think this is it Enough of my rant.
